Your first official greeting. A warm and friendly welcome to Castle Otherkin. Thanks for stopping by. This is a forum where we assume that you are human because you have a computer and fingers to type with, a certain understanding of words and language and enough common sense to find your way around the internet, so we don't bother to remind you of it all the time, we find that gets very boring very fast. We all get to be human beings every day of our lives, with our families, at work or school, in the supermarket etc etc. As members we come here to talk about things with other people who understand what it's like to be Kin inside a human body. Here we can identify ourselves as our kintypes and not be harrassed for it. You are very welcome to come and look around. We hope you like what you see. Security breach is a false alarm. Kind Of. On October 4TH 2008 The accounts of both myself, ComeToMe AND Zygopterix on Vampyres.co.uk were accessed without our permission. I now know exactly who was responsible, and it wasn't hackers, so that part of this worrying situation is over thank goodness. Apparently the forum Admin decided that because we had been having trouble gaining access to the forum (the page wouldn't show up, we got an error 404 message) and she could, as an administrator, access our accounts, log in as us, and change our passwords that that might be helpful. So without getting our permission that is just what she did. When we complained about this, because we believe that to do this was not legal, we were both banned. Whether or not you consider this to be a serious matter is of course up to you. |
