Welcome to Castle Otherkin. I think you'll fit in really well. Especially if you like meeting cool people.
If you really like howling at the moon could you pick a room on the west side of the Castle, somewhere near me. I Love the sound, I find it relaxing and enervating at the same time. Makes me want to prowl the battlements.
So you never know you might even see me there.

I'll save you a seat at the dining table. Just follow your nose around 6pm. The scrummy yummy smell will lead you where you need to be!
(If you have any special foods you particularly like then drop a note to the chef in the castle kitchen, and he'll fix you right up. He's very good.)

DarkeDesire lives in one of the nicest areas of the Castle, so you could do worse than pick a room in that wing. And the food here is excellent.

Well Darkedesire it doesn't matter to me. Actually the reason I call my self Wolfbrother is because (this will sound lame) that in the book I'm reading now there is a character who calls himself wolfbrother and I thought well who is more of a wolfbrother then myself and other weres

I wonder Skeeve if a Wolfbrother is literally what you are.
I know of a set of twin Wolves who get along so well that they do everything together.

They are always born and live together as twin brothers and then work together as guardians when they are none physical.

Some of the things you have said make me feel that this might be a similar situation with you and your wolf.
Just a thought.

You are half way there.
I am saying that what I see is a Werewolf and his twin.
One in physical and one in the astral.
The one in the Astral acting as guide and guardian with the other (you) taking care of the physical side of things.
there may be lots of reasons for this and obviously it may not be the case at all but being twins you would naturally be almost inseperable so it would go a long way to explain your situation.

It is entirely possible that you have or will have a set of guardians beyond your wolf.

And yes there are others like you.
the Wolves I spoke of before are Kin too.

Rooms here are great, warm and cosy, beds are comfy, nosh is fabulous except on Wednesday's when I help in the kitchen, sorry if any of your food gets burned, I'm kind of easily distracted!
