That doesn't sound crazy, but it does sound worrying for you Sephunveyna.
The first thing to ask you is if you have paid a visit to your doctor to get it checked out?
There are several skin conditions that could cause scaling in various degrees. The best thing for you to do would be to get yourself a thorough check up by a medical professional, just to give yourself some peace of mind. If you know that what you have is not a medical condition you can move on from there.
We'll be glad to help you do that, but until you tell us that it isn't medical we can't really say what it might mean to you as Otherkin. The problem is that while the scaling could well relate to a few Kin types, if it is a medical condition then it will be misleading you and all of us as to your possible kin type.

Lady C's advice is good, once a doctor has said you're OK then you can move on to finding other possible causes for your problem.
Having said that though I think some exchange of info at this point, just incase the doctor gives you the all clear, might be useful to you and us.
I'm sure there are types of Kin who have the kind of skin you sound to be describing, but could you give us some details please?
Is this an all over problem or is it confined to specific areas, and does the scaly skin seem to come from under the human skin, or is it growing on the top?
Is your throat aching and burning from the inside or on the outside? Does this have any relationship to the scaling? Is the skin of your neck one of the areas where you have this happening?
We will need more details before we can help you find the answers you're after, but the most important detail is the doctors report of good health for you.
