Elvin said that there were Balancers in all Kin types, not just the celestial ones, and I wondered if there was a reason why there had to be balancers in each of the Kins or if it was simply that it had just happened that way?

From what I've heard of them, they're created as balancers but identify as different kintypes. So there's not necessarily elves who are balancers, therians who are balancers, etc. There are balancers and each might identify differently. Another thing is that balancers, from what I've read of other people's posts around the community, often work with other beings, so there are elves, dragons, etc. who are not balancers proper but work for the same basic cause and such.

Well I think it's quite a simple answer, you want all views. I know this is universal balancing and not politics but just bear with my example for a moment. Would you vote for someone who just supported and helped the cause of one group of people, say wealthy white english speaking people? No of course not you want someone who will help everyone and different balencers with different opinions.

That's just the view I have from being a balancer, So I know a fair bit but I'm just learning and remembering past things.

That's exactly how I understand it Wolfbrother.
The diversity of the Balancers is so that they can best help every kin-type in every situation. It is a fact that (to use the anaology you started) a middle/upper class white person will never know what a poor person from an ethnic minority would need in their life, and of course vice versa, so how could they know how best to help them. It is all a case of helping the most number of people in the very best way possible, and only to have one type with one version of life experiences and one thought process to follow could never be enough to help all those who need their specialist abilities. It makes the most sense to have balancers of every kind Darke. It is simply the best way to help the most different people with the most diverse needs.
From Kin to politics and finally to economics. It's worse than running a small country. lol

At the risk of posting just for the sake of agreeing, that's what I understand too Lady C and Wolfbrother.
And let's face it that would be the way it made sense to do it, wouldn't it?
It would be too much power to distibute to just one set of people, it might make them unsufferably high on their own importance, and when you get like that balance goes out of the window, and havoc enters instead.
