im all for a nice sunny day but this is madness, i cant even go outside because i just get burnt to a crisp! i went in the car this morning and burnt my arms on l the doors and the metal seatbelt!

I am I am! lol. I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't like 600% humidity...I can't go outside or I can't breathe >.< I hate summer...my fur is a constant frizz ball and humid heat is the worst kind.

I am gardening like a crazy person, and the washing machine is thinking of going on strike for either an extra day off a month or higher pay! I am looking for things to wash, and even thinking about taking down the curtains and doing them!

I am having such a fabulous time. I love sunshine, and the warmth is fantastic, and ice creams and lollies and cool showers and the wonderful smell of warm earth and cut grass, and the sound of a small child in a paddling pool full of warm water and soap bubbles. What could be better than that?
What is the opposite of a rant?? Does anyone know?

Sorry to hear you two are not having any fun with the warm weather. But you know it is almost the end of July so winter's on its way.
That should cheer you up a bit I hope.

lol i normaly like summer, it means time away form school, i ju dont like that horrid sticky feeling im now getting. plus for some reason summer is also an excuse for fat ugly men to take of their shirts and walk around :0 some things sould never been seen!

I don't mind heat if I'm working in it... but the moment I sit still and start to swelter, I hate it. It's been hot here in the states, too. When I'm out doing yard work, mowing the lawn, or whatever else, I don't even notice the heat... until I sit down and feel the sweat dripping off me.

The heat is killing me! Its really bad here.I stood out there for five minutes and had to come back in and take my meds because of the thick air. But I can't stay inside, I'll suffercate from the lack of movement.

Argh!! I HATE IT.
I am sitting here itching because I spent twenty minutes in the sun this afternoon. My arms, face, neck and ears are all covered in itchy red spots and raised patches. They prickle and sting, they itch and they hurt.
I HATE SUMMER!
I hate the heat, and the itch, and the sun, and the inconvenience of not being able to go out without being covered completely from top to toe.
It really is too warm for a hat, gloves, scarf, coat, trousers and wellies.

Roll on Autumn. Cool crips days, and clouds. I LOVE clouds.

OMG terrri you are so right there! Why do men see sunny days as an excuse to take off as much as possible and they're always bright pink after days like today! Bright pink, and very angry looking, their peeling skin and their 'I am sunburned' stiff way of walking are sooooo attractive I'm not sure how any women manage to resist them.

Don't forget about said fat ugly men in speedos...and while we're on the topic of fat ugly people...I don't have a need to see fat ugly women in bikinis either. They should at least have the decency to wear a tankini...string bikinis on fat ugly people=me gouging out my eyes.

I know you guys are just being funny, here, but I am rather offended.

I come from a family that has a genetic weight disorder. No matter what the people in my family do who have this gene, we cannot get thin. I do physically demanding work day in and day out, and I'm still big. I eat healthy, exercise, powerwalk... nothing phases it, and the same goes for the lot of my family.

We have every right to dress for hot weather as anybody else. Perhaps the reason that fat people take off their shirts a lot in hot weather is because we get hotter a lot easier than thin people do, and the hot weather is unbearable with any kind of clothing on.

Please show a little more respect.

Well mainly I think my comment was aimed at men in general, as I find lobster red a particularly unattractive colour on anyone, even Lobsters, as that usually means they're dead! But women do it too, so I should apologise to all the men for not including women in my bad attempt at humour. Sorry guys.
Also fat is a relative term, as everyone knows someone who is thinner than them, even the stick thin people who look like they never eat at all. And you guys are right NO-ONE looks good in a thong, whoever invented them ought to be made to wear one!!
I have no objection to anyone dressing for the sun, but many don't do it sensibly, they don't put on sunscreen and they burn. This is not only unattractive as I jokingly said but also dangerous.
Truly I would be the last one to want to be offensive to larger people as I used to be one and I know what it's like to be stared at and commented on. I was lucky in that mine was not genetic, unless you call eating too much and not exercising enough a genetic disorder! So diet and exercise fixed me right up. I am not a stick, by any means, but I did lose around 20 pounds.
I am sorry for anything I said here that was unintentionally hurtful. I know I would never want to offend you BC, or any of the rest of you either.
Why does fun often come at someone else's expense? Once you realise that it somehow isn't so funny anymore.
