Panthers are cool and a particularly good friend of mine is a Black Cougar (Hi) but to look at I think Ocelot take a lot of beating.

That still has the same look as a baby one. The large wideset eyes and curious expression that human beings (and other kin too apparently) are pre-programmed to find irresistible.

The urge to protect and nurture the little and defenceless is well developed in almost all adults.
