Yes non-human would be the one I would choose if I had to choose between them. They sound very similar, but have vastly different meanings.
Yes I can understand why that would make you sceptical Terro. Since we are all human on the outside then denying that you are human is a bit of a waste of time. lol
However many kin come to forums such as this to discuss their kin sides and have the chance to leave behind their human sides just for a while. I know that many of us here are like that. We get to be human everywhere else, this is the only place we get to be our kin first and last. It is a marvellous release.

We did have a young lady here not long ago who became very upset that we did not appear to consider ourselves human *at all*. She became most insistent that we had to admit and embrace our human sides and that we were denying half of who we were by our attitudes. It was all a big misunderstanding and very unfortunate, as if she had read more of the forum she would have seen that at no time do any of us deny our human sides. We all freely admit that we have them. (One look in the mirror would make denying this an impossibility). It is simply that here on this forum we do not focus on our human sides. We come together as kin to talk as kin and be with others of our kind.
I think referring to anyone as 'poony umanz' is very childish and really most of the people here would never do such a thing. We have a few teenagers, but they are mostly sensible types, and we have some members who are discovering more about themselves than they knew they were, but many of the rest of us are mature adults who have been connected to our kin sides for a great many years. We are long past the first flush of awakening and are settled into knowing who we are and what we are capable of. We have known each other on the forums for some time now aswell, which makes us friends and a kind of family, the best kind of family, the one we chose.
I think personally that those people who feel the need to make rants about such things as how superior to everyone they are, and how much better they are/how much more they know, are extremely insecure beings, who do not know themselves or at least do not trust what they know.
I am human, but only on the outside. On the inside my essence is and always will be Otherkin. I do not need to shout about it, or go from forum to forum making a big deal of it, starting arguements and making trouble. It just is what I am.
I know what I have learned, and am always willing to learn more in order to know more. This method of living serves me well here and at home in my human life.
