Please could someone tell me what kind of wand is best for just a general novice witch to buy?

Do any of you have wands of your own?

I don't have one.
It's one of the items I still have to buy, that and a bolline.

I am a bit fussy about the magical items I buy and I like them to feel just right, so I am taking my time about getting things.

I like the wooden ones with the quartz crystals in them.
Actually I really really like the silver ones with the semi-precious stones inset all along the length of them and a Cabochon at the one end and a Quartz Crystal at the other. But I'd have to have a lot more money to spare to buy one of those, so I am trying to be realistic and balance everything by buying the best I can afford and I do like the wooden ones so I am trying to find a wooden one that has the right feel about it.

What kind do you like the look of Rosa, have you seen any anywhere?
