Ok I don't know if Ive written about voices before but there back. I haven't had a voice in my head for almost a year. Now I keep hearing my name being called. It just WON'T STOP!!!!! I'm in school getting ready to go upstairs and buy candy before the last period. It's lunch time and the bell hasn't rung. I get ready to leave the small commons or small sectin of lunch room and out of nowhere I hear this faint voice kind of yelling kind of whispering my name. I turn around to see who it was and the kids behind me were just look at me but i didn't know them and I got confused so I had a confused kinda lost look and then I see an assistant principal (we have four) coming and tells us all to go back to our tables and wait for the bell. Well I just stood there still trying to figure out who called to me. Then the bell rang.
The next day I'm walking to lunch and get to the commons and put my stuff down and go to lunch well while walking back to my table I hear the same voice but this time it was closer but still faint and whispering/yelling.I turn around people who were walking by (once again i didn't know them and the were differnt people than the day before) and looking at me. It was as if they heard the voice too. I go to my table and sit down and the voice comes again same way it did I turn around just ready to yell "What?! What do you want?!" but my friend sits down across from me and ask why I didn't respond to her question. She asked if I was ok. I didn't hear her! I didn't even know she was there until she touched me. What's going on? It's like when ever I hear the voice I automaticaly respond by turning around then I don't hear anything but my thoughts saying 'who is that? What is that? Why is it calling me? What does it want with me? Why do I want to know? ect.'

Hi silver.
I am not sure what advice to give you on this one yet but I will say you are not the only one it happens to.
I get someone calling me when I am chainsawing in the garden. Like you it calls me by my human name.
It only ever happens there and appears to be a voice I know but I don't know who's voice it is.
To be honest I ignore it because Lady C and my kids no better than to shout at me when I am working (one false move and your arm goes missing) so I figure it is someone taking advantage of my focussed attention, and trying to put me off.
It is certainly no one physical but further than that I have no clue either, as yet.

Some questions if I may

Is it the same voice each time.
Is it male or female.
Does it only happen when there are other noises happening.
Is it a clear and concise whispery yell, or is it muffled so that you could be mistaken into thinking it sounds like your name.

It it the same voice and I am having trouble figuring that out but something tells me it's a guy. I guess because I'm more comfortable around guys. No. These are only two out of the many but when i heard the voice There is minor talking but, then again I seem not to hear anything else but the voice and my thoughts when I hear it. It's clear. I can hear it because it's hard to get something else mixed with Rayne(Say like Rain. yes it is japanese....my mom and dad went to japan before i was born and named me after the rain... no idea why...They were gonna call me Silver but didn't.)
Also when it's quiet around the house or anywhere i hear voices of the past. Some I reconize but a lot I don't. I sometimes hear the voice amoung them. It scares me sometimes because of what noices come with the voices like screaming or yelling or fighting ect.They are the reason why there has to be a little noise in the background.

Sometime in the past year or so back when I was still friends with one of my old friends.

---PAUSE FOR BACKGROUND INFO ON FRIEND---
This old friend of mine has been hearing voices for like three years now. He's a god believing person and believes that they are demons whispering to him and he sometimes wakes up with claw marks across various parts of his body(Arms, face, chest, back, legs, just everyone).

These 'demons' also play pranks on him he says. From tripping him to saying things in weird languages that make him do stuff that he can't control.

He told me that their voices sounded like whispered yells really far away but right in his ear at the same time. He also told me that some of the other languages he felt like he could understand them but he could never remember what any of the words were or anything.
---BACK TO THE STORY---

So anyways, there was this one week and I had decided half mockingly and have seriously to quote some bible scriptures at these 'demons'. Upon my doing so he said they were not very happy.

He said that they didn't like to hear the bible scripture but I tend to think that they simply weren't happy I was mocking them.

So the next week or so I would be in class and I would hear my name being called to me in the same voices that he described. I mainly just ignored them. I went on a band trip that weekend and for some reason I got hit with a grape(not sure if it's related or not but it just seemed awfully random) and then when in perfect alignment with a pole that was sticking up out of the ground I mysteriously tripped and had I not caught myself I would've impaled myself through the chest on it. After that week I resumed my usual not-having-problems-with balance self.

I really wasn't friends with him after that, though the cease in our friendship was for unrelated reasons that had nothing to do with this. (So we won't talk about those reasons ) We still talk from time to time in passing though and I think those 'demons' have lessened now but haven't left him alone completely.


Sorry for the longish story but I figured I might include all relevant facts and see if you can't glean something helpful from the situation. It had similar voices involved and Zygo mentioned that he thought they might be trying to break his concentration. So since my story had malicious intent in it I figure I would see if it might help.

I hope I have helped in some way and if not it's still an interesting enough story I suppose.

Just a thought Farshief ..but I don't like having the bible read to me either ..I wouldn't go as far as tripping someone up on a spike but I wouldn't be very happy...hmmm actually their might be one or two possibilities but you certainly wouldn't fall in to that category.

From the times you have described so far Silver, this person doesn't appear to wish you any harm, but you should stay watchful just in case,as you know you should be careful anyway not just with psychic phenomena.

Has some one close to you died recently.....it could be them using busy times when your concentration is thinly spread over many things to get through.

Or it could be some one who has made a connection with you and realised you can hear them, so is trying to communicate.

The only other possibility I can think of right now is that the voice could be that of a Guardian of some sort.

I'll keep it in mind and let you know if I come up with anything else..

Have you tried talking to the voice or calling to it to come to you?.

Well that was back before I realized that I am the me that I know I am now... I was a dumb one, but what's done is done so I actually didn't think anything of putting that in there.

I'm sure you know me well enough now to know that I would never quote any religious scripture at someone unless they had previously asked me to do so.

Yea I tried talking to it but it didn't make since to me. It was like giberish that i started saying out loud by accident.

Yup i hear voices, mostly as i'm trying to get to sleep. To block them out i have a fan switched on all night. They sound like a really bad phone line mostly, you know someone is talking but can't quite make out the words.

Well, I usually try to keep a heater or a fan or something on all night at my house. Mainly because although I don't hear voices, if I just listen to the silence it starts getting into that ringing silence and then it's like my ears are trying to adjust to hear a higher pitch of noise and I'll sometimes hear random stuff.

It just messes with my head so I try to keep some kind of noise running at night,
