This may be another myth or merely a rumour based on falsehood and untold fibs and exagerations put forth by vampires or fans of vampires.
However I have heard repeatedly the tales of how sexual vampires are.
Sensuous and romantic, irresistible and fascinating, their appetites and reputations are much talked about and appear to be well known.
I wondered if there was any truth to the rumours, and if it was only Vampires or if they were simply the most seuxual of the kin beings, but that all kin were overtly more sexual in nature than humans?
I hope this question makes sense, I have tried to explain it the best way I can.

I don't know for sure about vampires, but i know for a fact that almost all kin have magnetism.

I may be a Were, but i have the ability to feed off of energy. The only difference is, i don't need to. I can live by just scarfing down my delicious meat, i don't need blood nor energy, but i like it. My favorite energies are storms and the sexual variety. They have the most energy, the strongest electricity that can flame through your veins. I find that i can make myself more magnetic when i want to. If i feel the urge to feed and no storms are in the sky i can flip this switch inside me that makes people turn heads. I can also smother it so no one notices me.

But humans can sense the difference in us even if they are blind to the meaning. We are different, powerful, strong, and we can do things that they can't. We live by our souls and they live by the chemicals in their brains. But the instinct that they do have recognizes us for what we are. It makes them attracted to us for reasons unknown to them. Sometimes this attraction is good, making us seem irresistible and fascinating, other times it makes us seem threatening and improper. Sometimes it will get you hit on, others it will just get you hit.

but yes, the stories are true. i think that a creature needs to be able to get that which it feeds on, and so if you feed off of sexual energy, you need to be able to call that energy. What better way then to be a walking sex magnet?

haha. just remember that you don't need to actual have sex to feed off of sexual energy. People tend to get that confused. salsa dancing is a great place to get that kind of energy. You just need to go to a place that the energy circulates, it's not restricted to the bedroom... i guess i'm just trying to say that you don't have to be intimate to feed off of sexual energy.

Hmm. This is a 'rumour' that has been going round for a long long time. I am not sure how to answer this. I suppose the best thing would be to be honest and hope it make sense.
So from my experience and point of view...Here goes.
I am a Vampire and so would love to be able to say to you: "Yes we are the most sexual beings, no-one can resist us no matter how hard they try. We can have anyone we want and have them do anything we want without question or complaint."
From my point of view that woud be superb.
But it isn't true.
We do have a fascination for members of the opposite sex. Both humans and of our own race too. I can switch it on and off at will, and usually have it set to just gently glow in the background. So I am often noticed wherever I go, but not followed or commented on, at least not much.
I can turn it up if I want to, but it isn't really a good idea most of the time.
I believe myself to be a Sensuous and Romantic creature.
I don't know about 'appetites', and I don't think I'd care to discuss them here anyway!
I believe that all kin are sexual in this way to varying degrees, and that all kin are more sexual than non kin. (Many of whom seem to me to have no real appreciation for it.)

Obviously being Vampire I believe Vampires are the most sexual of all the kin types, although I concede that would apply to any race of kin I would be...
I think there is something about the romantic view of Vampires that adds to the mystique of their natures to make a whole that is impressive and striking.

But then that is only my personal view, which I readily admit is frankly biased and openly prejudiced in favour of my kind.

I will admit that sensuous or sexual are not words often used to describe my kin, but I think it would be hard to find anything more romantic, irresistible or fascinating than a Unicorn.

Vampires do appear to be much more sexual than humans, possibly more than most kin. Although it could just be me lol

I think sexiness is a lot to do with attitude and confidence.
If you are confident that you look good it is easier to believe yourself sexy.

But it is also very easy to fool yourself into believing you are sexy.
Self delusion is an art form for some.

Also I totally agree with what Katie said about the magnatism and what LadyC said about the glow and they can't find us any thing but attractive (assuming they don't know then it depends on the person) Like donkeyman'll vouche with me here I always get incredibly mad because people are going on about how great and nice I am and I'm like" I'm a jerk I just publicly insulted you and you found it funny and attractive!?!"
