Do you believe there is such a thing as a Vampire animal?

You know like in Zoltan Hound of Dracula or the Vampire Wolves that frequent the ancient legends and Hammer Horror movies?
Or are they just that, movie inventions and 'Old Wives Tales'?

zygopterix- 11-12-2007
I would have to say yes to that.

Apart from all the hoohaaa about Chupacabra and that kind of thing what about all the Kin that are presently in Animal form.
Anyone of them could be Vampyric.

Vampire pom poms?

Is there a story here?

Shadow Stalker- 11-12-2007
I Think i will let camille explain it

Well I'm not into the idea of Vampire rabbits and gerbils and stuff, I mean I think that would be quite a stretch for anyones imagination!

But I'm not sure about Chupacabras and mystical beasts like that. I mean if you listen to some I'm not real, so where do I go from here?

And I would love to hear more about Vampire pompoms, they sound fascinating........Come on Lady C......... Spill those beans....... otherkin/lol.gif

I have met a couple of hamsters and have a Ferret that would make a real good argument for Vampire animals but I know what you mean it would seem very unlikely that the little things would be Vampire but dogs or wolves I don't have a problem with Dogs and Cats etc.

I suppose really the jury is out on the Chupacabra, having never seen a real one its a bit hard to say for sure but the evidence so far would seem to point to them being Vampyric.

The place you go from here is only talk to the ones who know you exist Faith (at least about pegasus anyway) and that way you don't have to worry about suddenly blinking out of existence at an inopportune moment.
It leaves a funny smell and a cloud of smoke that's really difficult to explain otherkin/lol.gif

How can a animal be vampiric unless it is born with a kin if this is not the case then how?

Katie- 06-07-2008
They aren't born with a kin, they are kin. we take all forms depending on what we delight to be, and what we are needed to be. our specialties come with our essence though some forms are capable of providing more of those abilities than others. so vampiric animals are possible. 'sides humans are just animals as well. they just conveniently forget this fact.

There are animals out there that need blood to survive in the same way that sang vamps do.

My personal favourite is the vampire butterfly- "I vant to suck your bloood!" *flitter**flitter* otherkin/lol.gif

I once watched a movie called The Breed (a vamp flick of course) where one of the vampires had a black panther who she would feed blood through a syringe.
