Since obsidian arrived I realised that there is no real description for the Fiery furnace so I wondered what kind of things everyone thinks we should have in here.

There are as I said, several single person sized barbcues and a blast furnace in the back.
There is a molten lead pool (I love that stuff it looks so pretty when it moves) and a large store for logs cardboard and any other flammable items you can think of.
But what else do we put in here?

Well perhaps a small one would be alright Serenity, but we don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves do we? I'm not sure how much the Home Owners Tax would be on a country house with it's own Volcano.

Oh by the way Zygo I have had a reasonable quote for the Crystal domed roof for the Solarium by the pool. The contractor was a little dubious at first as he did say that when the sun is very hot there might be a risk of random fires starting as the magnifying qualities of the crystal worked their magic on the suns rays, but once I had assured him that my resident fireman could take care of random fires without too many problems he seemed quite happy and very relieved. (I think maybe he got a job lot from somewhere hoping to sell them on and make a profit, and the whole random fires thing has been putting people off!) lol

So anyway he should be arriving in the next week or so to fit it instead of the boring old slate one we have now, and the Solarium should be a wonderfully toasty place for you to hang out very soon.

Quick question.
Is the pool of molten lead for bathing/paddling? Or is it just supposed to be ornamental?
I wouldn't want to do anything that would get me kicked out before I even got properly in. lol

I like the idea of a Volcano, but of course a small one would probably be best.
A lava fountain would be sweet. I've heard they make the best toasted marshmallows.
Could we have some areas for hot rocks? I love basking on hot rocks, and they're good for your joints too.
And a Geyser, for really really hot showers?

mmmm geysers make the best Coffee, but you need the percolater stuff not instant. Instant turns to syrup when you pour it down the hole and won't come out again.
put your percolater coffee in a pair of tights or socks, clean ones, then drop the them down the hole and sit with your cup until it rains coffee.
Add milk and sugar to taste
Hey we could have a coffee party with everyone sitting round the geyser catching coffee.

Wild

A lava fountain would be a great eco friendly way of heating the sauna Serenity. I used to watch programmes like horizon when I was a kid specifically to see things like that, erm lava, not saunas , I have always found volcanoes and earthquakes absolutely fascinating.

Obsidian I don't mind you paddling in the lead as long as you wipe your feet on the way out and I am working out a way of having the solarium roof heat some hot rocks too so that will be nice and eco friendly as well.

Lady C the solarium roof went on this afternoon and as soon as we get the rocks in place it will stop any risk of fires happening. It was a good choice too it looks amazing. Do you think we could use one somewhere else, the chap said something like BOGOF when I asked him about fitting another

Charon doesnt trust me around his boat, last time I spoke to him I burnt his seat and set his toll booth on fire. So I would like a volunteer to speak to him about making a donation for a liquid gold pool ...any takers

Have you thought about installing a couple of Hades's Demon Dogs to act as guardians?
They would have no trouble handling the heat and would keep the people who don't know what is safe and what is not away from things they ought not to touch.

I don't like bordeaux (how do you say that) but I am up for a chat with Charon so when you go can I come with you Shade. not like a date or anything just cause it sounds like fun.
Are those demon dogs like fluffy in Harry Potter he was humungous and slobbery and he'd make brilliant tsssing noises everytime he dripped.

what a super offer Shade and Lanntor, just please don't mention me and how shiny his new seat is ok. He got a bit twitchy last time he caught me looking over the varnishing job he had done on it.
And watch out for his habit of poking you in the shoulder..... his fingers are really bony.
