I am not sure how many of our younger forum members know which Sabbats happen when. So I thought it might be useful to put that info here just in case it helps in any way.

February:

2nd Imbolc
2nd Lammas or Lughnasadh (Southern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~
March:
20th Ostara
20th Mabon (Southern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~

April:
31st Samhain (Southern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~
May:
1st Beltane (Northern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~

June:
20th-22nd Litha
20th-22nd Yule (Southern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~
August:
1st Lammas or Lughnasadh
1st Imbolc (Southern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~

September:
22nd Fall Equinox or Mabon
22nd Ostara (Southern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~
October:
31st Samhain (Northern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~

November:
1st Beltane (Southern Hemisphere)
~~~~~~~~~~
December
20th-22nd Winter Solstice or Yule
20th-22nd Litha (Southern Hemisphere)
Both Yule the Winter Solstice and Litha the Summer Solstice are moveable feasts. They fall either on the 20th, 21st or 22nd of the month, but this is subject to change each year. So check your calendars for the exact dates or do as many wiccans do and celebrate them on the 21st each year as that is after all the 'middle' one. otherkin/lol.gif
These are going to be very useful too.
Thanks to both of you.
I do know when they are sort of, but I never remember which one happens when.
Is that something that will come with time? Or am I always going to have to look it up? otherkin/8).gif
And knowing what herbs and plants I can include in my spells and on my altar to help strengthen my magic and aid my rituals so they are more successful is fantastic. otherkin/687.gif
What else can I do? There must be more correspodences I should know about.
Anyone help me?
Try to get a hold of some books on herbs if you can, or if you can, try to try to get a hold of some of the books that we suggested in one of the other forum posts on here, they also suggest some of the herbs and such to use with spells and what not, specially the spells that are given to the reader by Silver Raven Wolf.
Hi
Does anyone have any info on corresponding colours for the sabbats?
That way I can colour code my alter and my candles.
I think it will all help to make my magic that bit more directional and help me concentrate and focus.
Thanks.
