I am with you terri. I would love to oust that lump of useless nothing from our government. What kind of brain haemmorhage led to him being voted as Prime Minister escapes me, but we are all bleeding for it now.
It is hard to imagine anything this country should regret more in recent years than this appointment.
I am hoping that a new president in the White House and a new Prime Minister in number 10 will mark a new beginning for us all.

And there, just for you Farshief, is the normal forum imagery. As promised. otherkin/687.gif

I'm impressed.
...I agree with it absolutely..but your ability to turn a descriptive phrase never ceases to amaze me.

What is Number 10?

And thanks for the return of the non-laggy imagery Camille otherkin/687.gif

Number 10 refers to 10 Downing Street, which is the official address of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
It is the UK equivalent of the White House, though is by no means as ostentatious or grand.

As much as we would like to believe that the world is still made of seperate countries, with governing bodies whose decisions do not touch or effect any other countries, that is no longer true.
It is now more globally important than ever that our world leaders interact with each other in a friendly and co-operative way.
Hopefully the new President of the United States will understand how vital such good relations are to the survival of our world and it's inhabitants.
Of course a Prime Minister for the United Kingdom who understands this too would hasten the process of global healing, and so a decent replacement for Gordon Brown must be found with as much speed as is possible.

Gentleman Death- 11-08-2008
A "decent replacement for Gordon Brown" may be hard to come by. They're like "decent guys" or something. So hard to come by and all with downsides. pickings be slim me thinks.

SolitaryMoonlight- 11-08-2008
Perhaps instead of a decent 'guy' we should be looking for a decent 'gal'?
They are slightly more easy to find. At least so I am led to believe. otherkin/lol.gif

Politicians are all male in one way or another.

Too often in this world females feel they have to prove their right to hold the position they hold, and so are more -*test*-('")osterone fuelled than a man.
They appear to believe they have to be more of a man than any natural man, and consequently react much more sternly than they normally would, to ensure that no-one will be able to call them weak females.
What the world needs is a woman who is confident enough about her ability to hold the position she holds that she is able to do her job as she would do it, not as she imagines the man she beat would do it.

terri-vale- 11-08-2008
to be honest the UK has been put of women PMs since the days of maggie thatcher, am i the only one who is just going to stick it to the system and vote lib dem? though away a vote because there is no point in really voting, both labour and torie are both as bad as eachother

WhisperInTheDark- 11-08-2008
Margaret Thatcher.
A prime example of a -*test*-('")osterone fuelled woman.

I always vote for the Green Party.
If I am to throw away my vote I will do it in favour of the planet which sustains me.

zygopterix- 11-08-2008
I am with Whisper on this one. I am not sure you could really describe Maggie Thatcher as female.
I must admit the voting makes sense too especially now....proportional representation would be nice too then we would really get some eco friendly folk into parliament..
oh and Gordon Brown should quit......what a Prawn

terri-vale- 11-08-2008
haha go zygo and whisper, but think of how embarrised the UK will now be with gordon brown vs the brilliant obama. our counrty should hang its head in shame and vote for somthink that would make a difference

WhisperInTheDark- 11-08-2008
It would need to be someone with common sense and confidence and who understand what is necessary and isn't afraid to do it.
Unfortunately I already have a job, Zygopterix is yet another male, and I believe terri that as yet you would be too young.
Who does that leave us?

zygopterix- 11-08-2008
I know the perfect person to be Prime minister, he could do a better job than Gordon brown anytime...

Wouldn't he be a little short perhaps?

Not that I am creaturist in any way, it is just that the practical applications of having a mouse as Prime Minister are limiting to say the least.

DarkeDesire- 11-08-2008
I don't mean to be crude, and I really don't, but wouldn't he find that person's finger a bit distracting? otherkin/lol.gif
