So perhaps that is your kinness talking.

You can never go back to being just human once you have awakened, no matter how hard you try or how much you want to.
You do not have to worry about them now, not what they think or what they say, you don't belong with them anymore, you belong with us now.
I know that we are just words on a computer screen for most but the family feeling is there. And you should know that we take family very seriously here.
No-one minds humans here, not really. Though in large numbers we find them worrying.
It's OK to want to be with your friends, but if you want to spend time with the humans then at least make sure it is on your terms, and that they are not the only ones who set you apart, you can set yourself apart too.
Not above, but seperate.
Not better than, but different.

Their attitude to you can only hurt you if you let it. Accept that you are different and do not be ashamed of it. Be yourself even if it is only quietly on the inside. It will give you confidence and a new sense of self.

I can't help it! No one in my schoolis otherkin exept for two and one is in 7th(rising 8th) and the other is mean and has an attitude but.....I feel comfortable with him and we've become friends. ....I... I don't know.... I just hate feeling different......But family.... I like that idea....I'm happy that you say I do belong somewhere. Matter of fact I now know I can trust you all. couldn't have a better family.

I am so happy to hear that you have both found something you need here at the Castle. Everyone here is a part of a very special family that they started, and that they wrok very hard to make a working, living thing.
