"Prana" is the Sanskrit word for energy, or life force. High Prana food is the best way for kin residing in human bodies to stay healthy.
The "Prana Index" is a measure of how fresh, how vital, and how nutritious to us food is.

This is a link to a site that has a Prana Index on it.
I have adjusted my eating habits to include far more of the High Prana foods shown on this site and I have seen noticable improvements in my natural energy levels.
Not only does the food look more appetising, it looks like it is good for you.

The basics are simple:
The less food is 'improved' the higher the Prana value. Avoid highly processed and refined foods as much as possible, switching to more natural and fresher foods. This will improve your health and your appearance, aswell as your energy levels and your enthusiasm.


I thought since many of us here need Prana to give our Kin selves the boost they need, and the site helped me so much I would post a link to it here and hope it's as useful to some of you. smile.gif

I started cutting out certain foods last year and swapping things like Margarine for Butter and Rape seed oil for sunflower and Olive Oil,
Just that has made a huge difference to me so I can't wait to try Prana rich foods.

I try to eat as much fresh food as possible. I love the colours, flavours and textures.

I avoid processed food as much as I can. I find that far from giving me energy these foods make me dull witted and slow moving.
Thanks to your link Wraith I now know why!

I have never used margarine regularly, it always seemed like a chemical substance, too artificial to be pleasant tasting. I did try it once or twice, but never enjoyed it so always quickly went back to butter.

I also always use honey to sweeten drinks, cakes, and cereal. I never use refined sugar of any kind.

I do enjoy tea and coffee, but use organic whenever possible, and try to drink a couple of glasses of juice and/or milk each day.

I try to be good to my body, hoping that the memory of this will help it treat me kindly later on. otherkin/lol.gif

Well the idea behind Prana is that the less it is processed and messed with and improved the better for you it is, so Organic would be the best choice if it is available.
Are the colours of fresh fruit and vegetables beautiful? they just look so much more appetising than a plate of Burgers and chips!
And I love honey, it taste lovely and is a wonderful substitute for blood as it is very high in Prana.
It sounds like you're doing everything right Jardinn, you must feel wonderful. smile.gif
