If any of you have seen a werewolf movie (Wolf or American Werewolf in London)
You will have seen the Hunger depicted in those movies as a Werewolf who is slowly awakening to his animal dreaming of chasing or hunting down a deer and eating it.
Then waking up in a wierd place covered in blood.
While it is far fetched it does illustrate what the Hunger is.
It is the need to hunt and feed manifesting itself. It is your animal telling you that you have a need, and it's a big one.

Mine first came to light some years ago when I walked into a covered market and smelt something good....really good.
My mouth started watering and I had to find out what it was.
It turned out to be a tray of venison (Deer meat) sitting in the front of a delicatessans fridge quite some distance away.
When I get that feeling I eat Venison and the feeling subsides.
Different Weres and Therians find that the hunger manifests itself in different ways so if you have a hungerpang that like an itch just won't be scratched.
Look at the things you normally eat then take a look in the local butchers or Delicattessan and see if something grabs you by the taste buds and makes your mouth water.
I am now at a stage were if I see any sort of deer but especially reindeer on the TV I start to salivate.
I discovered last christmas that the effect even extends to computer generated ones and cartoons.

i liked the movie simply for the movie sake, not the false propaganda that it generates. but then again i'm easily pleased by movies, fiction that they are. But this is more for a different topic section...so off i go!

There are many words of truth spoken in movies books and songs.
I have, over many years, found that even a childs fairytale can yield a nice little clue.
Sorting out the truth ....now thats the tricky bit.
Killer Soul your hunger may not be for Deer you might like other animals, the point is to search out and try various things to see if they suit you.
You can also use Psy feeding techniques in much the same way as a Vampire would, The energy will feed your kin and the meat will feed your body and craving.

I really didn't like that movie. I'd rather have Wolf or Wolfen.
Although out of the two only Wolf demonstrates the 'hunger' you were talking about.

I don't really have anything like that. Unless you count Maltesers, but even when you chase them they don't run very far, they keep getting caught up in the pile of the carpet. Still it stops them rolling under the sofa. otherkin/lol.gif

I think I still have to find mine.

I am very hungry inside, and could really use some help.

Reading your other posts Dea, you are already feeling the effects of the Vampire equivalent of the hunger, except in Vampires it is called the thirst.
It tends to be called that for both psi and sanguinarian.

I think Wolf is by far the better movie and less gory than American Werewolf too.
Wolfen intrigues me, as it is obviously not a werewolf movie and is more of a vengeful wolf spirit thing.
I think the Wolfens behaviour is portrayed in a very similar way to the actual shadow wolves, I would go so far as to say I think they are based on Shadow.
Judging by his avatar our other new member, Captive Wild, is quite keen on Wolfen too.
