I made a thread similar to this on an Otherkin forum I used to be on because I'm very much an optimist and I love hearing of other people's happiness.

The idea is to post a memory of your kinself (past life, astral experience, etc.) that's happy, or something that makes you happy when you think about it. I'll start, but I want to hear everybody's.

One of my fondest memories has actually become one of my coping skills in this life. I'll always remember driving. Barrelling down a broad country road at 2:00 in the morning on a warm summer night, the crops all around me swaying in a warm breeze with nothing but me, the Great Mother watching over, and my headlights. I loved going for nightly drives like this, especially during the summer season because all the crops were fully mature, and they looked like silver moonlit seas that sang their own tune in the wind. I lived and worked on a farm in Idaho at the time, and that's a bit of a hilly area, right at the base of the Rockies. The roads curved and dipped with the land, and there was nothing more fun than going full speed (only 30 MPH for a class-12 combine, mind you, but top speed nontheless), and feeling that gentle vehicular sway known to big vehicles on hydraulic suspension. It was so calming, and just... comfortable. I cannot describe the sheer comfort I felt in that life.

These are not Kinself memories and I'm sorry for that, but they are my happiest moments in my life so far. I hope it's still OK to post them here.

And everyone who cares enough about trivialities like this please note that they are all human form based, from my human life with my kids whose kinness has yet to be discovered, and my grandfather who was human.

The Births of my children. Three of my happiest memories.
At least to look back on. I wouldn't want to relive any of them you understand. It did hurt quite a bit! otherkin/lol.gif

Sitting on my Grandfather's lap as he sung to me.
Standing in his greenhouse with the drip of condensation and the smell of tomatoes.
Picking Bilberries on the Moor.
The smell of the puppy and knowing he was really mine.

How long can this thread be?
I may be back. smile.gif
