The Dawn Of The Age Of Aquarius

Anyone who has listened to the song "Aquarius" from the musical "Hair" knows that it is said to predict the time when the Age of Aquarius will begin, the song is based on astrological and scientific facts, and according to ancient texts and writings the signs all say that:
On Dec 15, 2007, at the last full moon, a planetary line-up provides evidence that the Aquarian Age is begun – The conditions set out in the song have been fulfilled.

The song "Aquarius" begins ...
"When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars"

YEAR 1 of the Aquarian Age
In December 2007, while the sun is beginning it's entrance into the sign of Capricorn, the moon will be entering the seventh solar house, in the sign of Cancer which she rules. At the same time there will be an alignment of Jupiter and Mars. This means that the Sun and Jupiter, Mars and the Moon in the seventh house, will all be aligned.
The planets will be just as in the song which then proclaims the Age of Aquarius.
At the same time the Moon’s "Axis of Fate", is about to enter the sign of Aquarius another very important conjunction,- that of Pluto and Jupiter - will be in force! Mercury will also be a part of this planetary line-up, and at the same time, Neptune is in the sign of Aquarius. Pluto is the planet of transformation, Mercury, planet of the god's messenger, Neptune is the planet of ideas, intuition and imagination, and symbolises the connectedness of all life.
A true gathering of the gods!

So come celebrate with me. The Dawn is here, the New Age has begun.
This IS the dawning of the Age of Aquarius.

I am not sure what the age of aquarius means but it feels pretty good to me.
In these terms I am Libran and so the perfect match for the Aquarian.
I am not sure what that means either but it sounds really good.

One thing I do feel sure of is that this will be an age of change and renewal

The Age of Aquarius promises greater emotional freedom, and a perceptible shift from the topsy turvy way of living we have experienced in the past, to a new sensitivity, as we seek to find the balance and harmony within ourselves and extend it into the world outside. A greater understanding between all peoples of the world and a peaceful future for us all.
Aswell as being the unrivalled wierdo's of the Zodiac, Aquarius is a mental sign associated with science and technology, creativity and invention, and the Age should be marked by immense technological achievements. The power of atomic energy, electronics and aviation (all Aquarian inventions) will be applied and probably even improved upon, in an effort to solve the problems of dwindling energy supplies and resources.
Look out for many familiar solutions, used to solve problems in ways you may not have thought of. New ideas, or new twists on old ideas.
A fresh new approach using well known methods, in unknown, or unusual ways, is to be expected from the Aquarian age, as the Wacky Aquarians bring their own uniqueness into play, re-write the rules or just ignore them all together.
Aquarius as the Sign of brotherhood, friendship and humanitarianism, brings the potential to achieve world peace and universal harmony as we come together in the new age as one people connected by a shared vision and goal for the future.
However, unfortunately, it is not all sweetness and light as with all these benefits come the drawbacks of Aquarius. Negative qualities such as: unpredictability, thoughtlessness, disorganization, fanaticism, and detachment, all these must be overcome if we are to live up to the promise this age brings. Hard work and dedication will be necessary, but what worthwhile was ever achieved without these?

Zygo I think that Aquarians and Librans make such good matches because each of the personalities possess qualities that the other lacks. A good balance being the universe's most preferred outcome, this would please everyone involved.

I personally, am looking forward very much to this new age.

I agree with almost everything that Wraith said about Aquarians, and the benefits and drawbacks of their personalities. We are also incredibly honest, self aware and realistic.
But I am hurt Wraith. You have hurt my feelings and upset me deeply.
Nowhere in your excellent description have you mentioned the famous Aquarian good looks and devastating charm!
I am looking forward to the Aquarian age myself, not just to see what we will do to mess it up!
But also to see how long it will take to make the difference we really need it to make, and how we will use the advantages and benefits this new age brings to improve our lives.

I am hoping that the beginning of the Age of Aquarius will mean that the time is finally right to begin the liberation of kin of every kind, every sex, every age and every ability. I hope that it will mark the dawn of a new era for us all whatever level of experience we have so far attained (or can remember having attained!).
I think we should take this opportunity to gather, here on the internet at first, in small and select groups like this one, and then in ever growing numbers both here and in real life.
I have no human relatives, no doting parents, loving grandparents or affectionate aunts and uncles. No-one to worry about over such matters, however, I know there are many here who have human relatives whose affection they have AND return, and I am in no way advocating the harming of humans.But we need to stand together and face them and say "Enough is enough!"

The War that everyone speaks of is not necessary. (I have heard the tales of wars between kin types, but they are only rumours, they have no basis in fact. The fighting between Weres and Vampires is a 'make believe' story put forward in a few books and some movies, but that is fiction, that's all, just bedtime reading for the braver big kids.)
The war between kin and humans will not be necessary if the humans do not react badly to our appearance. If there are enough of us together to make it obvious that we are not to be messed with, then they will have to listen, they will have no choice. Then we can explain what we want, and they can see that we mean no harm to them at all, but only want what is ours by right. The freedom to live as the beings we are, instead of hiding.
There will never be a better time for that freedom, than the age which celebrates free thinking and the individuals right to be different.

I know a couple of Aquarians and they are very unusual people indeed.

Definitely you could call them unorthadox and unique.
The Aquarian Age could not fail to be something similar I wouldn't have thought.
Personally I'm looking forward very much to seeing what the next few years bring.
It is going to be an interesting time I think.
