On a real situation I would take
An Axe because if it's sharpened well it will do almost any cutting job

some fishing line

and a box of hooks

You can make lots of things but hooks and line are next to impossible to recreate.

with those I think I could survive pretty well although fire would take some ingenuity ......even for me.

I would take poultry. Eggs are always useful.

A workbasket of needles and threads.

And a fire-making kit. (Raw eggs are not so useful.)

I would take a picnic basket. (The sort that contains knives, forks, spoons, and tin plates, cups and bowls)
A strong hunting knife.
A fire starting kit (With flint and strikers.)

With just these things I should be able to hunt, fish, build a shelter, start a fire to boil water so it's safe, cook and keep warm.

First if you bring a friend cee be added to yours?

I can cook, but im not good with fires Id probably burn the island down and then i d have to swim all the way to your good for our cholesterol island and since i hate things that are good for my cholesterol i would wither away and die so im sticking to my canned foods
