As for your guardians, well what you may or may not get next is anyones guess really, but ...If you were to get something it would depend a lot on what you have aready.
If you needed another guardian they would not send you another of something you already had. If you see what I mean?

Yes that's right.

I think if you would be willing to tell me what you have already we might be able to work out what 'kind' of creature you might still be waiting for. But not the exact type.
If that does not easily make sense, let me further explain it by saying.
If you had everything except a creature to represent air in your spirit then you would know you were due an air creature so....a bird maybe or a Pegasus, or possibly an air Dragon.
So we would know it would be the air kind, but, if it were a bird, I wouldn't be able to tell you what type of bird, I mean there are lots to choose from.
But if you were interested I would be willing to try and work out with you what you might well keep an eye out for on your travels.

Thanks for the nice things you said about my summary, everything was said here, on one post or another, but I just needed to write it all down together so I could see it written aswell as ask everyone else if they thought it was right.

But for every question I get an answer for, I get more questions too.

Like why 6 guardians Darkness?
Katie how long have you known you were 2 were's not just 1? How does that effect you? Is one of then in charge or are you? lol and do they work together or do the two instincts fight to be the uppermost? Do you decide which kin would be best to listen to in any situation? Is it just instinctive for you or a thought about choice?

I am sorry to be so full of questions, but there's no other way to find out if I don't ask you.

Usually 6 because you have one for each of the five elements Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Akasha or Spirit. And then one to represent The Self.

I'm not sure Katie is only 2 other kin races I think she may be more than that. But I might be wrong.

Well it depends on what you mean by 'knowing'. I have always unconsciously known i was more than i am, and also more than just one thing. But i've been consciously aware for about six months maybe? And darkness is correct, i've become suspect that i may be more, it's why i tend to simply call myself a chimera. My main twoish three are an arctic wolf, a big cat that i usually can't look at very well (either tigerish or big black leopard), and then i've got wings...and i feed off of energy, though i don't need to in order to survive, but without it i get all headachey and grouchy.

It's confusing and it makes my becoming difficult because i often second guess myself. How do i know if i'm not just making it up? I'm always wondering if i'm not just crazy but then realize that if i was crazy i probably wouldn't be wondering if i was, if that makes sense.

They are all me, so i am always in charge. I will speak of them as seperate entities, but that's only so that others can understand what i mean. It's kind of like in your head you have your angry thoughts, your happy thoughts, your lovey dovey thoughts. It's similar to that. It's all me, all my different thought processes, but it's my feline thoughts, my canine thoughts, and my thoughts that i haven't discovered their titles yet. They don't all speak at the same time, in fact they hardly speak, i feel them more than hear them.

They work together, my instincts aren't seperate. It's like i'm a puzzle and my kin are my pieces, they've got their own shape but they all fit nicely to make me (though sometimes one wishes they were the shape of another). I've got certain instincts for different things, but they usually don't overlap. I'm very much a pack animal, but it is difficult for me to accept someone as pack since i have a hard time trusting and am very independent. But if i do accept someone as pack, the only way to be removed from that position is to betray me or someone i see as closer to me. I am a firm believer in honor and respect (i tend to follow the honor post i put up) so i won't harm unless i must, but i could destroy anyone who harms my pack. It helps that my known animals are very similar. they agree on lots of things. I think they all basically agree and that's why i don't really have to decide between what my kitty wants to do or what my wolfy wants to do compared to all my hidden guys.

I hardly ever have to choose between actions. Sometimes i am given a moment where two of my instincts battle one another and i have to think about a situation, but that rarely happens.

Um.... i think i answered everything... basically it's confusing when i think about all the ways i am, but if i stop trying to analyze it and just plain accept it and move on, i'm usually ok. Now that i know that the things i feel are real and i'm not alone, it's easier to just move on. My different kins will tell me their identities when i need to know, or when they're tired of playing hard to get, and until then i'll just accept them for the nameless thingies they are.

Don't over think it just go with what you are without trying to analyse it too much.

I think you will be a force to be reckoned with when you finally come into your own, and until then I think you are a force in the making.
I feel immense energy coming from your posts and your writing is well thought out and informative, but also friendly and honest.
You sound like a really good person and I feel you have good aura energy around you.
I have always tried to live up to my kin and not let my obvious human interaction spoil my inner self and the way I see things.
I think being wiccan helps me with that. Looking at the world from the perspective of witchcraft with the idea that what I give out I get back times 3, makes me think twice about everything I say and do. I am responsible for my actions and have a responsibility to the people I share this world with, and although I reserve my obligations for my own family/clan I recognise that I do not exist on this planet alone. The humans are here and must be recognised and dealt with.
I live with them, but often feel that they live apart from me and whilst being on the same planet, inhabit a different world altogether.
I cannot understand how they can look at the world and the way things work and NOT see the things that are galringly obvious to me. How do they miss it????
Or is it just that they do not wish to see it? Do they see it and ignore it?
If that IS the case then that is unnacceptable to me. I owe a great debt both to the planet and my ancestors who came before me and handed me this world to take care of in my lifetime. How ever many lifetimes I may have I know that debt will never be repaid.

Even though I also believe in honour and respect, I would do exactly the same thing. Being a mother makes me even more likely to defend my 'pack'.

I am not sure who or what these Shadows are but if they are anything like I have read here then a code of honour and respect would sit well with them too I think.

thank you moon. you honor me with your words, although i don't think i'm very exotic compared to everyone here. I may be...unique i guess, but all of us are completely different from other kin. even those that are the same as us. So i must say that you shouldn't feel plain beside me! because you aren't. so there! :P

I think the idea of shadows is intriguing.
I mean who are they? What do they do? Do they even have any relevance in the world today, in a practical sense I mean?
I mean we see otherkin here everyday, but in the real world how many of us know others like us?
How can we group together when as far as we are aware we are all alone in our seperate areas?
I would like more info on the shadows and how they relate to me and the real world. The world I have to inhabit, and share with the humans.
Can anyone give me any idea of what I should feel about these creatures who are if all is to be believed my oldest ancestors?

Well, this is pretty much the only place I have found kin. I live in a part in the US, in East Texas to be exact, and anything that's pretty much not Southern Baptist, Christian, or is just out of the ordinary, is frowned upon, and seen as "evil". So, it's hard to find anyone like myself, or that is Kin in general anywhere in this area.

Hi Faith what a long list of questions.
I'll do my best to answer them, from what I have read, learned and understand, but I don't know everything about them.

The Shadow are one of the first 3 kin. Along with the Light and the Absence of Light (which came much later to be known as the Darkness). The Light and the Darkness combined in various degrees to form the Shadow, each degree of Shadow a different kintype.

In a practical sense most of the original Shadow are scattered over the globe. Just like the rest of us, residing in human bodies trying to live as best they can. Some do more good in a lifetime than others, some care not at all for anyone else, so pretty much like everyone else in that respect too.

Well I do, and there are others, but I know how hard it is, sometimes you know kin without realising it. But it is very risky trying to find out, and then admitting what you are to those you suspect runs a great risk aswell. In confession I would have to admit that I have told no-one I have met here about me. It is not a risk I care to take.

This I have no answer for. I am sorry. But I will say that gathering together here and on other forums like this one is a great start, and something that hasn't been available for very long. I'm still getting used to being able to talk to others (well SOME others) without being picked on for it.

Well I don't think you have to feel any way about them. I mean you could always meditate and see if deep inside you feel any kind of connection to them. If you do then great, but if you don't I wouldn't worry about it.
It isn't compulsory, you don't have to. For most of us The Shadow will be strangers.

Darkness is pretty much awesome and you should listen to her. all i can add is, i suspect a few of the people i've met as kin, but i don't know for sure and am to afraid to reveal myself in order to find out. I find that more children have the potential to be kin than adults. Maybe it's just their ability to believe. When it is necessary we will find each other beyond the virtual plane, and we will find those who never knew who they were to begin with. When that time comes you may be surprised to find others like us. In order to survive we must remain hidden, for now. Times will change and it we will be able to stand up from behind our masks without much fear for we will not be the minority and we will be able to stand up for one another.
