Has anyone ever had a dream where they could smell, feel, and taste what was going on in a dream?

There was this one dream where I was in a airship, a two seater, with this guy. I KNEW for a fact this man was a vampire, but that isn't the point. We were right next to a waterfall and a meteor was heading towards Earth, that's why we were there, to see it, but instead of flying 1000's of miles away from us, it flies right towards us.
As the meteor passed, I could feel this jolt of electricity run down my spine and through my body like i could not describe. I even felt the heat from the fire on the meteor and there was this odd smell from it, I couldn't say it was an unpleasant smell, just a smell from the meteor.
Then we crash landed into a city, I felt his arms arms me to protect me from the crash and then I felt the crash and smelled the burning fumes.

I dunno if it's just me, but that was the first dream I've had where I could use my five senses with the things happening. I've had a few others like it though.

I think reality and dreams can be blurred, especially when vampire males are part of the equation, the otherkin/swear.gif but the important thing I find is to try to stay in control of this dream reality. Wouldn't want to do something naughty in there and find out it was real afterwards would you? otherkin/oops.gif

I can do that when I use control in my dreams, which I sometimes do.
Mostly though I allow my dreams to lead me where they think I need to go. They usually have good reasons for taking me there.

There is the possibility that these are dreams given to you by someone else. Is the same Vampire in the other dreams aswell?
Perhaps if he is there is a reason for that.

No, he's only in that one and the one where I go to a school for elemental fighting and end up running away from Proffessor Snape and getting onto a cruise ship. xD I think he might have been in a few dreams years ago when I was really into vampire fandom. xD

I didn't have any control over this dream though and when the meteor came towards us, i wanted to wake up, but couldn't until I crash landed.

i cant remember the other dream right now for some reason. I dunno, I just knew he was a vampire and I knew him from somewhere. Of course...this is also after listening to New Moon being read to me. >.< But the Final Fantasy references in it had no connection to anything.

... fallen kin might be right. you might have a connection to him. I mean he has to be in your dream for a reason. maybe youve met him. or its warning you of something. something dangerous. vampires symbolize something that we think may strike at any time. Meteors can symbolise some sudden change in the facts about some situation. water generally represents the unconscious and the emotions. A waterfall is a positive dream symbol that suggests a cleansing of negative emotions or psychological issues. If the waterfall in your dream is overwhelming or too powerful for you to enjoy, it may represent emotional energy and unconscious drives that are very difficult to effectively cope with on the conscious level. thats all i can pick up from a dream dictionary.

That's a very interesting take on it. See I never remember my dreams unless there is something in it that has a link to a future event. I mean I just thought this dream was pretty cool/freaky, but I mean it could be a warning.

A warning sounds better than me dreaming half the stuff I dream about. >.< Sometimes it gets weird.

That sounds strange. I agree with everyone else, it could easily be warning you of something.
Sometimes dreams have no meanings. I doubt the elemental school with Professor Snape actually meant anything. otherkin/lol.gif
But a dream in which you use all five senses and can remember as vividly as though it actually happened most likely does have a meaning.

I have these kind of dreams where all senses are in play. They're odd but most welcome.
I find that these are the ones with a good deal of meaning in them or "future sight."

Personally I like Kiari's theory.

I like Kiari's theory too.

Not because it agrees with mine, but because it is extremely well put together.
