That seems rather strange Katie, being able to understand different languages you've never studied. It must be fun though!
Powers? I don't know that I would call them that, but I suppose I do have some.
Normal SensesSmell-I have a heightened sense of smell, which isn't always good in the cities and restrooms.
Sight-My distance vision is fading, and I have to wear contacts. But my night vision is getting stronger. On our class camping trip, we went for a night hike. My classmates were all stumbling around in the dark while I was just wandering on ahead, able to see fairly well still.
Taste-My taste is good, I suppose. I can't stand spicy foods, and carbonated drinks burn my throat so much I refuse to drink them.
Hearing-Again, good. I'm able to pick up on sounds most people don't notice.
Touch-Average. My sense of touch is just normal, no better or worse than a typical human. Except on my left knee, but that's the result of a bad bike wreck. I have no feeling on most of it since many of the nerves were sliced clean through.
Different SensesI too find that I heal quickly. I'm able to sense changes in the weather, and I find that thunderstorms give me more energy. I also feel movement in the earth. We had a 5.7 earthquake here last year, and the night before I was constantly on edge, the sligh-*test*-('") thing being able to spook me.
I've also learned that I can see people's auras if I concentrate. It's easiest with our priest, I'm not sure why.
I'm able to tell what people are feeling normally, and because of this I keep my thoughts and emotions strictly under control. I guess it's because I'm afraid there's someone else who can do the same.
I can see "shadows," as a way of putting it. I don't know what they are, exactly. In the darkness, I can see little whisps of fog-like things or shadows flitting around. This has led to my being slightly afraid of the dark.
Any ideas what these "shadows" might be?
