I have noticed recently that the strength of feelings coming from the 'other side' is getting stronger.
Has anyone else felt this?
I know that it is almost Samhain (Hallowe'en) and that is one of the strongest Sabbats in the Witches' calendar but still things seem to be stronger and have more energy that previous years. It's almost as if there are more energies preparing to come through this year, it is very enervating and uplifting, but a little puzzling too.
I'd love to hear what anyone else thinks about this. Even if it's just to tell me that you think I'm imagining it all.

Well I cant say I can feel this but I am bad with feeling energys so cant really be of much help besides that If there is more energies preparing to come through then something must have happened

I don't know about feelings from the other side, but i myself feel stronger. The closer to samhaim we get the stronger i feel. both mind spirit and emotion. a better grip on things i guess.... does that help? prolly not... oh well!

I thought it was just me that was feeling an enormous amount of strength and power surging through them periodically.

It keeps making me want to fling my arms out wide and shout or scream at the top of my voice. It's like being outside in a huge gale, I can feel the power surging around and through me, almost lifting me off the ground.
I don't feel like it happens all the time, it comes in waves like the tide, sweeping over me, until I'm almost drowning in it.

It is fantastic, made all the better because I can share it with you.

haha i also think it might have to do with samhain mixed with the full moon being tomorrow, full moons always make me a little giddy with energy, mixed with whatever happens on samhain (this'll be my first since awakening) could be the cause...possibly? maybe? eh, theorizing. it makes me wonder if since understanding and being aware of myself will make me aware of different things around me within the coming week. does anyone else find that true? that since awakening you notice things you never noticed before? or did you notice them but didn't see the correlation between that and what we are?

Well I was raised knowing who and what I was so noticing new things after awakening doesn't really apply to me, but I think you have a point about the addition of the full moon making everything much stronger.
Samhain is a very important Holy night for my clan. We have rituals and ceremonies that we come together for. There are some Clan traditions that apply just to us, and then there are Samhain traditions that it still astounds me to find are performed in ceremonies all over the globe.
I am really looking forward to this years, as it is so close to a full moon I too feel it is becoming extra strong, and there is already a good amount of magical energy whizzing around.

I know exactly what you mean. I absolutely cannot grin widely enough to express how excited and happy I am right now.

i was wondering if anyone else is having trouble controlling the fluctuations? the random bursts of energy are starting to make me twitch. And ache. is anyone being affect physically? just wondering.

I am twitchy too, and to be honest it's starting to get on my nerves.

I keep thinking I'll shout out loud at a very wrong time, and I just want to run, far and fast. So fast.
It's like energy I can't contain and it doesn't want to be contained within me. It wants to be freeeeeeeeeeee!!!
