I tried posting a hello in the hail/farewell forum about two days ago...and it still hasn't shown up on the forum...do I need to rewrite one (maybe it didn't go thru)?

No Airelinn, you don't have to rewrite it. I have just approved it.

However what I wish you would do is accept my sincere apologies for taking so long to approve it. I have been intensley ill for the last three days and have done nothing much at all on the forum for the last two.
Zygo has been trying to keep up with his home life and everything I usually do when I am well, and, to be honest we just got a back log of things to do.
I am really sorry.

On a brighter note one of the things I have been tryng desperately to be well enough to do is remove the moderated posting from this forum.
We all hate it, and the vote, from the members who voted, was unanimous to have it removed. So OUT it goes, and you will never have to wait for any of your posts to show again.

I do hope I am forgiven for my bad manners. I am very sorry.

Thanks for approving it, anyway...I can tell I'm really going to like this forum...I love the "castle" set up you guys have going; it's pretty neat and fun... ^.^

We love it and it's great when new members join in with the fun of it aswell.
One of the reasons I believe Lady C began this place was as a kind of refuge for many of us who were tired of being treated badly on other forums for our beliefs, and the way we thought of ourselves as Kin first and foremost. (That's not popular everywhere.)
She made a home and safe haven, and opened it up for us to come and be ourselves in. There is to be a map one day, if the Castle ever stops growing long enough to make an up to date one.

I like it. you should see the glass dome the builders put in my room its really cool.
I can lie in bed and see sparks and smoke swirling round in the chimney from the blast furnace now and there is a lovely warm feeling whenever I walk in there too.
I got the builder to take the legs off one end of my bed and nail it down so I can lie there with my head in the dome. If I turn over and look down I can see right into the furnace it's a bit like sleeping in a volcano.
