It is definitely wonderful. I'll take some pictures when I go out there this summer when the crop is ripe. It's also wonderful to watch the combines out there. It makes me homesick, though.

Is that the kind of homesick that can only be cured by the company of your own kind?
Or will finding acceptance and a place to just be yourself help at all?
Because you can rest yourself here for as long as you want. At the moment I can't promise you more of your own kind, although given time you never know.

It does help to have accepting company such as the folks around here. I can say that I'm very thankful that I was directed to this place.

My homesickness, though, usually only goes away when I'm around other combines, which is particularly why I'm going into custom harvesting, and actually just yesterday made a down payment that saved the life of a 1980's John Deere 6600 that was going to be sent to a demolition derby, and will be taking said JD with me when I go on harvest run in 2009.

There is this one place that I can't get off my mind. It's a waterfall in the Fall and mountains surrounding it and the sun is about to set and it's just to beautiful. I can picture myself sitting there in my otherkin form with my old human friend and I'm snuggled up to him and he's petting me. Ahhhhh... What I'd do to go there again.

Oh yes that is a memory acually I saw that memory while on vacation at a beach with a water fall. Ever scince then I longed to go back to there. The water fall that is.
