I have been having trouble over the summer keeping my body temp under control. I was OK all winter but once the warmer weather arrived I started to overheat and it's getting hard to handle.
The weather is cooling off now as we are moving into Autumn and I thought my temp would cool down aswell but it isn't doing, so I wondered if anyone had any ideas how I could cool down?

Ideally it would be an internal fix, as I have tried tons of external stuff, wearing cooler clothes, drinking plenty of liquids, eating ice pops, cool baths/showers, nothing works!

There are some herbs and stones/crystals that will help with that Obs.
I will ask mum and get some more info for you.

This must have been a very uncomfortable thing over the summer, but maybe to have it through the winter might not be that bad. If you think about it, you'll be like a huge hot water bottle walking around. You'll never be cold or friendless if you're giving off excess heat.

Personal central heating sounds so familiar for some reason.....can't think why

I let the flames I make burn outside of my aura Obsidian that way they don't make huge amounts of heat inside the body.
I don't know how much heat you make but you should be able to filter the heat out rather like a reverse psi feed.
Taking the heat from your central core and passing it over the outer edge of your Aura so that the movement there causes it to slip off into the atmosphere around you.

Please excuse me but I presume that your essence is reasonably big because I have noticed that part of the problem of fitting a larger essence into a small body is that it concentrates the heat your essence naturally makes into a smaller space. At normal size the heat is negligable but when compressed your essence makes more heat than your slightly overfilled body can dissipate naturally on it's own.

I find this very interesting. Reason being is that I am a panther, and yet, I heat up a room by 5-10 degrees by being in it. And I have severe issues controlling my body temperature.

So yeah, the above post by Obsidian sounds very familiar to me. And when I tried something that I read that I believe zygo mentioned(in a post I cannot seem to find) about drawing energy from your aura into a bar like object and letting it burn(those were not the exact words of course since I couldn't find it), it helped... Perhaps zygo can tell me where he's hidden his post?

I experience something similar to this, but only when I move a lot. I overheat like a black leather seat on a hot summer day.

I use my form's own cooling systems to cool myself as much as I can, but sometimes even that's not enough. What I've found helps is transferring the heat energy to something else, i.e. a welcoming crystal or stone. It takes it off yourself, and gives it to something that can make use of it.

That sounds like a great idea BC, passing it into something else. Even passing a small amount might make a significant difference.

Just as a passing thought, would that work with water do you think?
Then I could invite Darke round, she could get rid of some of her heat, AND I would have enough hot water for a bath?

Imagine what zygo could do.... He could cook without ever turning the oven on

If you can concentrate the heat energy you produce into a small enough point and direct it into a single object with enough intensity it should be possible for you to heat it up quite nicely.

No, I wouldn't think of trying to eat a phoenix. For one you are too big, and for two, you could eat me easier than I could eat you
