Is the for Zygo??? He'll be very warm in the winter not that he needs it at the moment it's boiling.

He should be allowed out again to start hunting in September.
I do keep letting him out for a bit of a fly round at meal times but I can't reallly work him at the moment as while he is heavy he could decide to go walkabout.
He does hunt ...and he's pretty good at it too.. but most "tame" owls don't so the summer a time of year that gets a bit boring for them.
They are supposed to be flown everyday but it really isn't practical at this time of year so I made sure he has a large aviary to flit about in and give him other things to do like beating up plastic bags and old newspapers.
He looks a lot like an old feather duster that a cats had when he gets moving about then feathers keep flying off him when he moves, he plays with those and tries to eat them as well which is really funny because he gets them stuck in his beak and spends ages trying to get them out again....Daft bird

He has managed to keep his hunting skills in tune though and has caught and eaten four hedghogs and a couple of Rats since he went into moult.

I don't suppose you hire him out do you Zygo?
I could really use a flying feather duster, (even a moth eaten scraggy one) to help me rid my house of cobwebs on the ceilings and in the high corners at the top of each room.

I would pay well and treat him very kindly aswell as returning him completely intact in his original condition.

Are you feeding him anything to condition his new feathers? Or is he only getting the oil from his old feathers?
Just wondered. You could always give him a garlic clove to chew on... That might help.

Shadowed Belief

What a beautiful kitty Shadowed Belief. And what a very pretty name for her.

It would be really nice if you could find a unicorn, and I would really appreciate it. They are not common though. We do not seem to be a very popular emoticon to have.
