Hmm well, personally, I don't think I'm "descended" from anything...angels are simply created by the deity we call God, and put into human bodies when necessary to help people. Whenever we incarnate, it is to help others better their lives: if someone who believes in God has lost faith and wants help to believe again, we help. If someone is suicidal, or seriously depressed, we help them through that part in life.

But I do like the definition you provided, it does provide an explanation of the origins of certain kintypes.

All this has been, of course, my own personal opinion.

And shadow and all other kin were created by The Source.

The only difference between your description of your kin and our description of our kin is that while you say your kin are created to help others who are suicidal, lost or depressed.
We are re-incarnated to do all those things you mentioned, for kin, AND live, learn, grow and develop as kin, help our various races to better understanding and to leave each reincarnation 'more' than we were when we entered it aswell.

I do apologiose Wraith I am sure I could have been a whole heap more tactful about that....Sorry.
I know what the Wraith are like and the description given above is so far from it as to call Ayers rock a pebble.
I actually have a great deal of trouble describing the true form of the Wraith but rippling ever changing dark, smokey, mirrored, water is about right ..suffice to say you are a beautiful race.

Drawing a paralell between the two points of view I suppose you could say that it would make Sachael Shadow or Shadow Angels ..the difference between those two ideas causes arguments all over the net.

But you wouldn't describe Sachael as Shadow Angel, anymore than you would describe Vampires as Shadow Vampires or Weres as Shadow Weres.
They are just Vampires, Weres, Angels. Where they come from is not as important as where they are going and who they will help and what they will learn along the way.

Well, that definitely cleared some things up, certainly.
I think that I and my kin are also here to learn what it is to be human: to have the physical, mental, and emotional limitations of the human race. In fact, I've "been here" about five times, that I can recall, without knowing about my non-human spiritual nature. So, in a sense, I guess you could say it's also a learning experience, though why I am aware of myself this time around and not those times, I'm not too sure.

Could it be because whatever task it is you have to perform this time is going to be easier for you to understand when the time comes, if you do remember that this is not your first time here yourself?

After all, if you remember past lives yourself then re-incarnation is much easier for you to believe.

I think sometimes there is too much focus on where we are from and the different names we call them/her/him.
It is great to get to the bottom of such things if doing so brings us to a further understanding and a greater sense of kinship with others.
But if all it does is cause a rift which forces us further apart then it serves no good purpose and should be left in the past in order for us to move together into the future.

Sorry if that sounds preachy.

I don't think that sounds preachy at all. I agree with what you said.
The past is fascinating and I enjoy tracing history, but I use the past as a firm platform to stand on, from there I look to the future with more hope. At least I have since I came here.
