the best way to start up a pack is to become close with people to begin with, are you part of any other organizations?

Find people with common interests and mindsets, start from there... random ad on the internet... the people you want, you're not getting, and the people you'll get, you don't want.

Do you know any other Were's Wolfie? Even if it's only one or two, perhaps they could help you get started?
How do forum packs usually start?
I've never made one so unfortunately I couldn't give you any advice on that. From what he said in his intro post Terro has his own forum though, perhaps he might tell us how it's done, or at least how he did it.
I must admit I'm curious.
If you still want to start a forum pack Wolfie then don't give up on the idea, but making friends first, and then making a place for you all to come together sounds like a good plan to me.

My forum came mainly as a result of another forum going down. Mine has over a hundred active members and just under 20,000 posts mainly as a result of myself and several others who helped in forming the site being positive influences and presences known and somewhat established as credible in the Otherkin Community.

If I had just randomly started up a forum without people knowing me and enjoying what I have to say and my comments on what they have to say, my forum probably wouldn't have gone so well.

The steps to build a forum are simple, go to a free hosting site, set up a phpbb community, take you 20 minutes to completely build and launch it. If you really want it to be strong you should take it to a paid host eventually. Free hosting doesn't have a lot of services.

Ehh sorry it has taken me FOREVER to get back to this but i have been busy

anyways i have been in several packs and its really hard to keep up with cause i was Their General in one of the packs i was in and it was so hard to keep up with so my advice to all of you is to just get a couple of friends that are kin and stick together or try going solo like me it seems to work so far

I'm really sorry your pack idea didn't work out but you will ALWAYS have us.

Remember you need only be as alone as you want to be. If you ever want some company you know where we are.
