I do not believe in God either Kiari, at least not the idea of god given by any of the mainstream religions you find today.
I never have.
My upbringing was such that I was told bed time stories about The Source and The Shadow and their part in the origins of everything, but there was no
ONE deity responsible for all that exists. And there was no one anything that I was supposed to bow before or feel gratitude to just because I existed. No vengeful being waiting for the sligh-*test*-('") excuse to condemn my soul to eternal damnation.
I also believe that when you die you can choose if and when you are to be re-incarnated. It is your essence after all, and you can decide what you want to do with it and when. If you do not wish to be reborn as a human (or an animal, for some of us have that choice too) straight away, you can exist in what the Vampires I grew up with called The Void. That is the place on one of the non physical planes, that you inhabit between your lives in human form.
I believe miracles are just things that sometimes happen. Randomly and for no real reason, certain people will just get lucky. I don't think anyone/anything chooses them to be the lucky ones and I don't think it is because they deserve it or have earned it. I think it is just one of those things that no-one can satisfactorily explain. That is after all what makes it a miracle.

The fights over religion are not done for the sake of the Gods that are being worshiped, or for those doing the worshiping, but for the sake of those
organising the worshiping. Wars are begun by those in power in religions. They fight for the worshipers, to take them away from each other and have the most people in their 'gang'. They fight for the money, and support of those who worship at their particular temples. They fight for the power and the glory involved. Most disgustingly of all I believe that in this struggle for power and numbers of followers the original religious message of unity, love and support has all but been lost to most, and so gives entirely the wrong impression of both the religions and the deities they were intended to serve when they were first formed all those centuries ago.
