Ive been doing a lot of research about the origin of mankind and religion because thats the topic of my research paper but in my search I came upon Lilith and I must admit Im thoroughly captivated by this young woman. She is mentioned in the dead sea scrolls to be made from the same soil as adam at the time of their creation and after she was formed she would not submit to adam because she thought them equal. After being constantly pestered she eventually left eden because she maintained her stand that men and women were equal and she would not hold second place to a being created the same as she. After further exploration into the story of lilith I have found actual links between her and the birth of those that as according to the article "posessed more purity of soul than the children born to mortal women and thereby were deemed outcasts and driven from their lands for fear that their divinity gained from exposure to the creator would blind the others and leave them to rule" I do not know how true this story is but I must admit it has gained my interest and i though i would post it to see what you guys think

Ah Lilith. The first feminist. She had a tough time in quite a few old stories and religions, they demonised her and made her a succubus if i remember right.

According to Jewish texts Lilith was Adam's first wife.
Lilith left Eden because Adam, whilst refusing to treat her or even think of her as his equal, also refused to let her take the dominant position during any of their intimate moments.
It is said that before she left she screamed God's true name, and exited vowing never to return. It's also said because she left the Garden of Eden before the fall of Adam and Eve that she cannot die. This immortality and her later love of drinking the blood of infants, gave her the title of Mother of all Vampires.
Her sexual habits of enchanting, then mating with human males and using their seed to father more of her demon children has given her the title of mother of incubi and succubi.

After her departure from Eden Lilith went to the shores of the Red Sea and mated with the demons who dwelt there, from these matings she gave birth to many demon children.

When Lilith refused to return to Eden all of her children were murdered by servants of God. Lilith responded by vowing revenge on the children of Adam, human beings.
Many Kin and Humans still think that Vampires and Demons will always be the enemies of human beings, and this is where it is believed that idea originated.

I think she's been associated at some time with almost everything nasty, bad and demonic that you could name.
She's an all round bad girl and not to be trusted! I think even if I believed her to be on my side I would be reluctant to turn my back on her.
