Prompted by something Faith said and my reply, I thought I'd ask this here to stop the other thread from drifting off topic.

What is your least favourite animal. What do you think is the ugliest, ookiest, most cutely challenged creature?

There are lots of things I consider seriously unfortunate in the looks department, but I think Earwigs are the worst!

squirrels can be cute and cuddly, but they're evil. other than that i think hairless cats/rats/whatever are very strange looking, but the one that scares me the most and should never come near me ever is the Japanese Giant Hornet. That thing is ... just scary. but it is pretty sweet looking, seeing as it's about the size of a thumb.

Chimpanzees.
I have a really bad time with Chimpanzees.

I see people crooning over them on the TV and in zoos and things, saying how cute and cuddly they are. Dressing them up and calling them sweet and saying how much like us they are.
Don't they realise that that cute little sweetie wearing the red shorts and the stripey T-Shirt and sipping drinks from the spout of a teapot could literally rip them limb from limb if it had a mind to?
Don't they know that these creatures are rampant meat eaters, savage and dangerous?

No, I really don't like Chimpanzees.
As you can plainly see.

Apart from humans which most don't consider to be an animal it would have to be...

Thats the nasty little grey jobs that occasionally stick their teeth into my dogs or ferrets and on one particularly unpleasant occasion me.

I can't help wondering what sort of rose coloured glasses you were wearing when you first met him.
My advice would be, if they are a standard line buy the whole lot to sell on ebay and you could make a fortune.

Honestly though are you sure your comment is really fair .. you must have liked him at some point otherwise you wouldn't have chosen him as a boyfriend in the first place.

Lots of guys look very attractive to begin with, then you get to know them better and their true personality shows itself in their faces as well as the way they behave.
If they are ugly on the inside, they will eventually be unable to hide it, and so become ugly on the outside too.
Just a thought.

My least favorite animal... I'd have to say is moles/gophers. I can't stand them, mostly from bad memories, but they're the most stupid animals on the planet. If they can't get out of the way of a 52,000 pound machine berrelling towards them at FIVE MILES PER HOUR... that can be heard a mile away... they must be real stupid.

Maggots. Ugh!

I was going to say slugs but now you have reminded me of that unholy hatred I have for ticks.
I've only ever had one and it was on my dog. When the lady told me it was a tick I held my poor dog as far away from me as I possibly could. Just the thought of it....ugh!
Then when I found out that they could attach to humans I was pretty traumatised.
My life used to be happy until I discovered more about ticks. Now every walk in the woods makes me look around to make sure there aren't any ticks on the surrounding greenery.
God I hate ticks..... and slugs.....snails are cute though.
