Imagine a nightmare
and picture me there.
Learning life's hardest lesson,
that life's never fair.

Torn from my loved ones,
betrayed by my friends.
Condemned to existence
where grief never ends.

The Darkness that beckoned
and captured my heart.
It lured me away
and kept us apart.

I vanquished my demons,
and from Darkness I came.
stalking your echo
calling my name.

A hard journey homeward,
a long winding road.
My anger my burden
more weighty than gold.

I offer no answers,
I'll give no replies.
Believe I speak truth,
or believe it is lies.

It has only been a short while since my life was that dark, and things are beginning to get better again for me, but the memory of it will stay with me forever I think.

Thats was so real, It was like I could actually feel the emotion in every word, hauntingly beautiful I say Wow!

This is very disturbing.
The anger, confusion and emotional instability alluded to here makes for a piece that is very intense.

I appreciate the symbolism, and fervently hope that symbolism is all that it is.
