There are no movies about Pheonix though are there? So no popularity except with the people who want to be something no-one else is, or at least not many people are.

There are so many advantages to being a Kin type very few people are. There is no-one to argue with you when you say something dumb, and no-one to contradict those dumb things either. You could be the living authority on your Kin type.
I know it's not like that for you fire man, but it is like that for some.
