I was just wondering if any of you ever had dreams of flying?

I've been having them since I was small.
At first when I thought about them I saw them all as seperate events.
But recently they have started to blend together and the flying feeling seems to have become just something I have always been able to do.

I love the feeling of flying and I love the dreams of flying too, I just wondered if there was anyone else here that would know what I was talking about if I posted up some stuff about it?

I do Obsidian but you knew that already smile.gif

Mine are usually of flying through mountains and rocky valleys and of landing on rock faces.
I don't like the ones where I jump off a cliff yet. those freak me out and then I fall out of bed too. thinking about it those might not be memory dreams but they are still freaky.
I have a memory of flying with others like me but they are not. They are Dragons but not the same as me. some are bigger and some are smaller and different types but I don't see one that looks like me.

I almost never dream anymore.
I remember flying and can remote view fly as well so I don't think I really need to dream of flying anymore or at least that seems to be what my subconscious thinks anyway.

I used to have the falling off cliffs dreams LannTor. Try to let them run a bit longer if you can, you should pull up at the bottom of the cliff but haven't dreamt that far yet.

I have dreamt of flying on and off most of my life, but I never thought about it meaning that I might have wings until a year or so ago. I know I think I must have been pretty dumb not to have made that connection, but I just didn't.

My flying is usually over water, rivers are the favourite. I seem to be travelling the planet by following the water courses of the different countries.

You should see the amount of Phoenix that appeared and popped up here there and everywhere before I ever made a connection DEA then you wouldn't feel even slightly bad about not making the connection between dreams and wings.
My la-*test*-('") Phoenix is the SETI project at Aricebo.I found out last night it's actually called Phoenix.
It still amazes me how many come up.

You have had associations with Pheonix in your life all the time and dismissed their significance?
You're right I feel better. smile.gif

I have trouble with dreams too. I can't stay in them long enough.
Why do you think you don't dream anymore Zygo?

my most persistant dream topic is flying. That and being chased. I fly off cliffs, ships, rivers. I almost never take off in a field and almost always land by skidding to a stop, not just drop down, if that makes sense. my favorite dreams are about flying. It feels so free being able to soar through the sky.

it's a combination of things faith.

When I was a kid most of my dreams were memory based or of things chasing me through the night.
then as I grew up and got more access to my memories those disjointed dreams became more unified and easy to remember, so they slowed to a standstill.
When I reopened certain areas of my innerspace I then spent a deal of my sleeping hours working in those areas.
Now I am down to working while the body sleeps and some precognative dream states that pop up occasionally.
Once in a blue moon I actually dream for real and those make a nice change but they are pretty wierd to say the least. I guess when my thoughts do finally let go, they really go on the rampage but it's pretty rare now.
