I know that exactly which birthstones represent each month can vary, these are the ones I have always used personally, and I believe they are the most commonly recognised ones. (And the easiest to buy jewelry for.) otherkin/lol.gif
I make no apologies for the jewelry piccies, I really love pretty things.

-smiles- that's pretty cool Camille, and I feel so special cuz my birth stone is the first on the list lol. I love Garnets, I love the dark red color of them. And I got an ex of mine a ring with a sapphire as the main stone. I think it was white gold or platinum, and had small diamonds set around it. Only cost me a little over $100. But yeah, anyways, I'm done with my ramble.

Oh those are wonderful C.T.M.
The information is interesting too. One or two stones I hadn't heard of associated with the birth months too, so thankyou for that. smile.gif

Darksilence, I love dark red, whatever it is........clothes, jewelry, hair, cushions, bedding. Anything and everything.
I think bright red can look cheap and a bit vulgar, but the dark blood red is exquisite and absolutely my favourite colour. So for me it HAS to be Garnets.
And what happened to Rubies? They used to be a beautiful dark pinky/red, but now they're such an awful pink colour. They just look dreadful. Most look fake.

I think the ring you bought sounds very beautiful Darksilence. I know you said she was an 'ex' now, but I hope she appreciated you when you were together. smile.gif
She was a lucky girl.

I love the pictures Lady C.
and the idea for the section is great too. smile.gif

Moonstones are my birthstones, but I didn't know that Alexandrite was too. It's really beautiful.

-s- I love dark reds, of any shade, and love them when it comes to my clothing. That and I love when other people have dark reds in their hair, though personally, I enjoy dying my own hair a midnight blue. And as for the ring, yeah, she loved it. I bought it for her birthday, and gave it to her when her family and us went to dinner on her b-day. And anyways, it's good to see that others enjoy the dark colors like me. smile.gif
