This is a dream I had a few months ago, in May....keep in mind that I'd been reading a lot of gnostic scriptures around that time, hehe...It's also very looooong; just a forwarning...muahahahaha! ^.^ I wrote it as clearly as I could, which wasn't too hard...it was one of those nightmares that kinda sticks with you for a few days...

It’s sometime in the future, but no one has aged. Humanity is at its lowest and poverty stricken. People are completely reliant upon gas stations for oil, food, and everything else. They are the only places to have survived the depression. Everyone has come into the cities, migrating together and everything has become slums. There are too many cars for what the roads were prepared for and all are older models. None are from current times because makers have gone out of business. Roads are run down; lights are defective which causes many accidents. Driving has become extremely dangerous, but walking is impossible. When one walks, they are either run down by a car, mugged, raped or murdered. The air is polluted and concrete cracks but nothing grows. As an effect of many earthquakes, floors in houses boast enormous chasms, filled with children’s toys, garbage, rats and insects.

In this environment, my husband and I had to move from our house in the small town to a slummy one in the city nearby. Our aunt and uncle’s house in the city had fallen into disarray much like every house in the city, and my husband’s father and brothers were forced to live with them. My father and siblings, likewise, were forced to live with us. Meager things gave us pleasure, such as an old yellow couch from the 70’s in our living room and opening curtains to let the polluted sunlight in. Most don’t have furniture or clear windows, or window panes for that matter. Glass is usually broken out. People knew something bad was about to happen and so everyone was on edge. Since we were out of food, I went to the gas station to bring some back for dinner. Since we thought something was going to happen, we were packing to leave the city with the prospect of returning after. Before I left, my father and I had an argument about whether or not to bring the dogs. Since we weren’t sure of what was going to happen, I argued to bring them with us, but my father was afraid of trying to feed them. My husband and I argued over who would to get the food: he was worried because I breastfeed our baby girl and alternatives were unavailable. I assured him that everything would be fine and that I had pumped some milk that was in the refrigerator.
Now, everyone seemed to believe that whatever was about to happen would be at the end of the week, and because there was a world war, everyone also thought that it would be an invasion or biological warfare. So I went the night before we were about to leave to not only get food, but supplies as well. Traffic out of town was especially heavy. I could barely get to the gas station without being completely engulfed. As I was about to make my turn into the gas station, the sky became completely black and cars became jam-packed into a small area where the Earth cracked and separated from itself.

I was standing atop a barren hill under a brown sky with a group of about 15 people, looking down upon Tucson. We knew, however, that no matter how hard we tried or how far we walked we could no longer reach it. We began to trek down the hill into a brown and barren valley, which was loomed over by a large, black mountain. The mountain was topped by large gray clouds and openings, like windows, near the peak revealed fire within. Demons of all sorts came and went from the mountain, vanishing over the hill we descended from. By the time we reached the barren valley, many of the people in the group were parched and in very poor condition. I came across a map, somehow and directed everyone to the lake. One of the guys in the group, a little younger than myself, collapsed and so I dragged him to the water’s edge and dunked him in. He became revived, but Satan came down from his mountain and began cursing us. He seemed as though he was punishing more than angry. He gave me a choice: to either choose to serve under him and go back to Earth to call others into his service or to be punished by going back but being unable to breastfeed my baby girl. I chose not to serve him, and so he made me unable to breast feed, but also did not allow me to return. He also tortured the man that I had helped and because he was in pain he was screaming for awhile and then quieted down to a constant sobbing. Although I was not physically in pain, the thought of never seeing my daughter again and being unable to feed her if I ever did get the chance was torture to me. I was afraid that she would starve to death, and that thought was very possible considering the inaccessibility to formulas.
Satan then brought us to a cleft in a mountain by the lake and showed us the Earth. He began to tell us that he was to be the ruler and we the subjects; that he would make things good for us if we served him in the New War, which was soon oncoming. I grew passionately outraged and spoke out against him. I told him and the others in the group:
“Look! Look at the state that Humanity is in, now. Of course, it can be said that we did this to ourselves, but you, Azazel, did nothing to help it. You only helped to corrupt us further!”
He began to try to list the things that he had done for Humanity and I began to dispel each one:
1. Helped Humanity free itself of unworthy Laws and Rulership.
2. Helped Humanity to see good/evil for what it REALLY is; GOD’S idea of such.
3. Was on Humanitie’s side, really, including EVERY religion, shape, color and creed.
…and so I argued:
That Azazel only helped humanity to corrupt itself; that the line between good and evil is thin and that Yaweh only outlined Laws to prevent people from realizing the pain that occurs when the line is breached. I argued that good is good and evil is evil and that any discrepancies were only the cause of Azazel’s corruption. I also argued that ideas such as that gays are condemned by god, religious segregation and such was only Azazel’s corruption and his ploy to infect Humanity with false ideas of Yaweh and to gather rejects into his army. I then yelled that Azazel and Yawehh never put forth a helping hand for Humanity’s sake. Yaweh had cast us out because of Azazel’s corruption and yet Azazel, as intelligent and powerful as he was (far more than any human being), had never saved the righteous or brought order. I declared that I would not fight for his army, and that I would have no part in his war. I said,
“I am a descendant of Adam and Eve, celestial rulers of Earth. Yaweh intended for Earth to be Our world and I will fight with Our army to make sure that it is so.”
When I said this, my inability to breastfeed vanished and the other man’s pain went away. I found that we were all now clothed (we had been naked before) and we were all glowing. We looked to Earth because we were about to return to tell Our Brethren what was happening. Azazel tried to strike us down, but was unable. I told him, “We have the Pride and Protection of Yaweh once again.”

This is a very interesting dream, it seems to have varied and wide-ranging contributing faiths and beliefs.
Both Mormon, Satanist, Grigorian and Christian religious foundations feature strongly.
It is not an uncommon view of the future of this planet and the human race, or even a rare view of how we got there, but the way you invision man's ascent out of purgatory and back into the light of God's grace is a very personal one.

Thankyou for sharing this with us Airelinn. Have you only had this dream just the once in May, or have you had it again since then?

Mormon, huh? I don't know much about the mormon faith aside from a few things I've learned from friends; mostly the history of it...may I ask what hinted of it (out of curiousity)? ^.^

I just had this dream the one time. It left me feeling pretty strange for the next few days, though. I wasn't sure what to think because I'm really not a religious person and I've never really believed in God's existance. I still don't know what I believe entirely...I mean, this dream is coming from an agnositc person, which is why it was so strange to me...

In the dream, though, I didn't feel that loyal to God (yaweh) in particular. I felt more loyal to the human race...Yaweh is sort of more like...uh...I don't know how to explain it really. He's there (in my dream), but I wasn't really trying to pay homage to him...in my dream he was pretty equal with Satin himself to me.
The reason that we had the "pride and protection" of Yaweh, was because he charged us with...ruling...Earth.
Eh, it was a weird dream, haha...

There is a lot going on in this dream and I have a feeling it comes from several different time periods as well.
I think I am generally a little preoccupied with the fallen and a loose connection to the Tuatha de Danaan was pointed out a few days ago by Fallen Kin, but there are parts of this dream that stick out at me like the proverbial sore thumb.
They seem to have you arguing against joining Azazel.
To me, You quite plainly say you have the protection of the source and will not be allied to Azazel.
Basically you stood upto him, even under threat of harm, and told him where to go, which if that is the case probably places this part of the dream in the past. but more importantly if I am right, puts you against Azazel before his fall.

I read that with great interest.
I do not believe in god the father, and all that jive, but I do believe in The Source, which is the recognised name for the energy 'something' in which Stephen Hawking and other noted scientists believe the Universe was created.
I think I was most interested in the fact that you appeared to associate Azazel directly with Satan as the same entity. I've heard many who believe he and/or Shemyaza to be Satan, and many others argue vehemently against that notion. There are so many names and personas divided between these three or four different lives that things easily get entangled.
I'm curious to know, and it is only curiosity, I promise, do you actually believe that or was that just the way it came to you in your dream?

To answer your question, Shade, I am totally agnostic. I really don't know what I believe, but I lean toward science...
I'm the type of person that believes that if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it...that it doesn't make a sound, period.
I know that makes it a little weird that I'm hanging around an otherkin community site with that sort of thought process, but I'm sort of weird that way...I guess I could say that I have a foot planted on either side of the road...
But yeah, I'm definetely not christian/jewish/islamic...none of that. I just study the stuff...but that may be the only reason I had the dream in the first place. Just got an overactive imagination.
The only reason that I believe it was more than that and bother to post it, is because the feeling that it left me with for like a month afterward. I still have that feeling, but I'm a very cautious person; I don't like to jump into bed with a religion too quickly, hehe... @.@

Just to post and clear confusion, logically the tree would make a sound why wouldn't it..... and since I'm on a roll here the chicken came first too

The tree doesn't make a sound because no one is there to hear it. Technically, sure, it does. But I say it doesn't because no one is there to observe the fact...

A long time ago a scientist (can't remember his name for the life of me...) created an experiment. He put a cat in a box, and hooked the box up so that extreme electrical currents would run through the box. (I know, mean. I don't like it, but that isn't the point)...The scientist turned on the electricity and he said that until he observed the cat as being dead, that it was still alive, or rather, somewhere between.
I know that's kinda' cooky and hard to understand, but it makes sense to me.

It's sort of like, if you believe it, than it's true....because it's true within your own reality.

And actually, the egg came first. Don't worry, it's not a theory anymore. The eggs were there from the fishies and reptiles before chickens existed.

He used the experiment to try and quantify certain aspects of Quantum physics because quantum particles (photons included) behave differently when they are observed than they do when they are not.

If a tree falls in a forest and there is no-one there to witness it, it would make a noise, but it would not make a sound.
Technically a noise becomes a sound only when the waves the noise produces are heard and processed by an ear.

As Airelinn said, science has proven that the chicken came much much later.

The parts of the dream you mentioned could be a past life memory Zygopterix as you said, or perhaps a sign of what may be to come, if, as some are working towards, Azazel and Shemyaza are resurrected.
I have read that their revenge would be swift and merciless against those they hold responsible for their punishment.
The world would not be enough to hold them, they would travel the Astral to find everyone connected to this, and with the help of the human Ishtahar they would have no trouble exacting their revenge.
I only put this forward as a possible reason for the dream, warnings of possible future events often come in dreams.

If the photons do behave differently when they are being observed how do they know they are being observed? Science tells us they have no sentience, so would have no self awareness. If they have no self awareness they would have no way of knowing they were being observed, so it must be something else that causes the change in the behaviour.
If it is something else I wonder what it is?
Perhaps an electrical field given off by the observer could explain it, but that still doesn't explain how they know how a photon behaves when it is not being observed if they are not observing it?
Someone must be observing it in order to know how it is behaving, and so must spoil the experiment surely?

I love scientific proof, it's even less scientific than my best guesses.
