THIS IS THE CHRISTIAN-BASED OPINIONS OF A CHRISTIAN GIRL, SPEAKING PREDOMINATELY TO OTHER CHRISTIANS.
If you're atheist, or some other religion, I'm all cool with that. otherkin/cool-smiley-006.gif

How can God be both all-loving, and yet allow for the existence of eternal punishment in *Milton Keynes*?
Quite simply, it is like any court system.

Say you murder someone. You have MANY chances before your trial to plea out, or to get a reduced sentence. You can plead guilty, and if you really are sorry for your actions, you may get 20 years or so, or maybe even a chance at parole. But if you stand at your arraignment and trial with a self-satisfied smirk on your face, chances are, you will be found guilty, and, barring the death sentence, you will be given life in prison, with no chance of parole.
Same thing with *Milton Keynes*, starring God as the judge and jury. You can repent for your misdeeds throughout your life (plea bargaining, etc.), and God, in His infinite mercy and wisdom, will most likely forgive you if you are really sincere. But if you stand there and say "I have done nothing wrong", at your death, you'll be found guilty (decision of the jury). Your sentence: enjoy your forever stay in *Milton Keynes*, the eternal prison with no chance of parole.

The judge (God) may feel VERY sorry for you, may pity you, when He sees you rotting and screaming in *Milton Keynes*. But there is nothing to be done. Like all non-parole sentences, there is no changing what has happened, and no changing your punishment.

Milton Keynes is one of the words the language filter removes.
Most Kin don't believe in it anyway so it's not a word used in everyday conversation.
There are others that you're not allowed to mention either ....that one being about the mildest one.

Personally I believe that if you take another persons life you should have no chance to 'plea bargain' your sentence down from a death penalty or life imprisonment to a lesser punishment. After all you did not give your victim any choice did you?
You killed them.
You took something you had no right to. Their life. And so yours is forfeit in return.

In the same way I do not subscribe to the idea that to God it matters not how badly you 'sin' as long as you are sorry afterwards you will be forgiven.
To me this is just wrong.
He is not the one who is being 'sinned against' and so therefore cannot and should not be the one to judge whether or not you should be forgiven.
If you murder someone it should be the victim's family who decide what your punishment should be. After all they are the ones who are left to deal with the fact that you thought it was alright to take away their loved one, and leave them to face a life without them.
If they want to forgive you, then and only then in my opinion, would it be alright for you to be forgiven.
I don't know about an all forgiving God, didn't he also say "An eye for an eye"?

I agree with your whole post Elvin, but most especially this bit. I think that if you did it then you should not be able to wriggle out of it.
