Mum I want to go out and heal people and tell them things .
I want to teach them the proper decent way to live and to respect each other. I want to tell them what I am because I don't like having to keep it secret.
"Hmm When I was a little girl My Mum told me a story about just what you want to do my dear.
Listen to this and then make your mind up as to what you want to do."
Some few years a go a small boy was born, he was born in unusual circumstances to a poor family and due to unforseen events he was born in a rather cold and draughty place.
He started out as a small and rather spindly little boy but grew to be a fine young man with strong gentle hands that bore the signs of his trade.
As he grew he questioned things.
You see at an early age he had been visited by a strange being that he couldn't really describe but he understood to be friendly. The visitor told him the most amazing stories of deeds past and unusual abilities. So as he grew the boy -*test*-('")ed what he had learned and discovered that he too had lots of unusual abilities. He -*test*-('")ed them on bugs and next doors cat even the local stray dog when he could find it.
He found he could take away pain and make things heal much faster. In his spare time he visited the library and there he found lots of wonderous books and objects but what he liked the most, even more than the history books were the ones about herbs, magic and healing. The more he learnt the more things he tried out ..in his spare time of course, he was a good boy and wanted to help his dad in the family business.
One day while in the library he made a new discovery....That he could really make people better, one of the librarians banged his head and our young man took the bruise away while he was checking to see if the librarian was alright. He was ever so grateful but being a sensible chap told him not to mention it to anyone else.
This incident gave the young man an idea and so going home he decided to talk to his Mum about it.
He told her about what he could do and the visitor he had had as a child and even about some of the things he heard when he was out in crowds and listened peoples thoughts.
She listened patiently and carefully to what he had to say and to his ultimate idea
"You know people are not likely to take kindly to your ideas darling. The government will get very cross if you start helping people like that, they might even think you are trying to start a civil war. "
"But I must do this Mum it's what I was made for"
"well mark my words my boy you will have trouble if you don't keep quiet about this"
But the young man didn't want to listen to his wise old mum.
"Nah Mums a fuddy duddy she's behind the times man.
I'm outta here"
So off he went. he got on his soap box and talked to a crowd who listened to what he said and it sounded good too. He told them to behave themselves and do things to other people that they would want other people to do to them. He even told them that he wasn't really human and came from somewhere else.
Then in the background he saw an old man with a stick trying to walk up and listen to what was being said.
Moving towards the man he could tell that there wasn't really anything wrong with his leg, it was just dislocated at the hip and the man obviously never met anyone who knew what to do.
So talking to the man quietly he took hold of the leg and twisted it then pulled the right way and, with a pop, it slipped back into the socket. Well the change was miraculous suddenly the man could move his leg again and even started walking properly after a few minutes. The crowd was amazed.
Our young hero started wandering the country telling people his ideas and healing people as he went.
News of his deeds spread too and soon every time he came to a town word had reached there before him and hundreds of people came to watch him heal people and listen to his stories.
News of the young mans exploits was also spreading to other ears.
On one particular occasion our young kin friend used some eyebright to make a young lady see again ....
of course the people around thought it was amazing and a miracle..... and on the same day a small sickly boy was made well with a careful knock on the chest. He had been suffering from a fever for a few days and being a weak child anyway had succumbed to a heart attack. The knock on the chest set his heart beating back in it's proper rhythm but of course the onlookers considered it to be highest magic and truly miraculous.
Then horror of horrors he was arrested, He didnt know why at first and then as he was questioned and told the inquisitors his beliefs it dawned on him what had happened. the things he knew were not anything special just herbs and moving energy about, stuff like that but the problem was he had gotten himself quite a following and as far as his questioners were concerned this was a really, really bad thing.
So with a great deal of grandstanding he was taken to the usual place for enemies of state and put to the the fair mercies of the cross, the capital punishment of the day.
As he hung there dying our friend so wished for a drink, the sky started to cloud over and as he finally left his body there was a huge storm and everyone ran for cover.
"Now "said his Mum
"do you really want to go through all that just because you just had to tell some one and go and use your stuff out there in the world for everyone to see."
Umm yeah. Have you seen my two inch chisel....I had it earlier on.
"It's under your pillow dear"
"Aww thanks Mum.... How do you just know where my stuff is"
"It's a kind of magic darling"
Perhaps the story of Jesus was just a bedtime story to warn young Kin away from spreading what they knew
I wonder if like chinese whispers the original story just got changed in the sands of time.
Zygo
Aww that was a lovely story Zygo, and you worte it really well too.
I can just see her sitting down and trying to explain to her little boy why showing people what you maybe can do if you're kin was a really bad idea.
Jesus could really have been that couldn't he? Like a parable?
How do you think things like this though. I don't ever get thoughts or ideas like this one.
Brilliant. Just brilliant.
I love the idea of Jesus being made up for an Otherkin mother to use as a lesson for an overkeen Otherkin teen.

Don't worry about it Rosa, I don't get ideas like this one either. Luckily we know Zygo, so he can give us the low down! LOL
