Just browsing through some of the stuff. I'd say it's not true.

I'm not a vampire of course, but I severely doubt that "A few individuals are able to achieve full transformation into a large creature resembling a bat" as that site puts it.

It also said that all vampires are allergic or at least sensitive to all of the 'allium family which includes onions, chives, leeks, shallots and of course garlic.'

Furthermore I recommend that this link not be followed and explored due to graphic content. Particularly the 'Death' Section. If you do not wish to see some....gruesome images, do not venture past the warning on the death page.

It also talks about Vampirism being caused by a virus, and a 6-9 month period of change.


So yeah, I do not agree with it, some may, but it is not for me.

Really all you need to read the introduction to himself which he calls 'who I am'.
It's so full of silly statements, I didn't need to read any further than that.

I would say you could safely file this one under 'r' for recycle Obsidian.

And I just had to look at the death section. The ! those guys were people, regardless if they were kin or not that was just down right murder! This is exactly why i don't trust non kin!

I too have my doubts about his honesty Serenity.

I believe that most of the Vampire communities would have access to medical help of a local variety, without having to rely on someone who at the moment of dire need could be thousands of miles away!
Even Vampires can only wait for so long before seeking medical assistance. I'm not sure his claims would stand up under the cold light of day.

Sorry about the previous post, I was just really riled. Its just not fair how the harder we try to be accepted simple words turn it all to dust. Its the one step forward four steps back syndrome.

I know I'm going in the exact opposite direction of all of you but... evan though what he was saying about Vampires is total garbage what he was saying about that hormone telomerase is actually in theory possible, I've looked into it a bit myself. However there is no way that this fool could actually pull somthing off with this idea I think he just got lucky

It's OK to let your feelings out, it's healthy.
He will never know what you think of him, which is probably a good thing really.
So it does no harm to vent your feelings, especially if you're not saying anything you wouldn't say to his face if he were here.
That's what those lovely smilies are for, and I think you are right in what you say. We will never make progress if people like this keep printing rubbish like this, but no-one is stepping up to give them anything else to print for fear of being thought of in just the same way for their beliefs.

Time is the thing. We inch forward, and though progress is slow we make it, and we will continue to make it. Probably not fast, but we will. The internet is ours now, so many forums in so many languages, we have come a long way in a short technological time. Maybe we don't all agree with what's said on the majority of the forums, but they're putting the point across that some of us are real, and serious and not just sad people with nothing better to do.
Patience will get us what we want, that and never giving up.
If we use our persistence and the drive and passion of people like you Serenity, how can we fail?

You're right ctm it is hard to know the facts when none of us are really to keen to step forward, but the fear that keeps us from stepping up was instilled long ago, when the first stake was driven.

Of course it was, and it's not like it's an irrational fear, we know what happens because the history has been written down. I completely understand what you're saying and agree with you aswell.
Unfortunately it is just the fact that this knowledge keeps the true ones quiet that the fakers rely on to allow them to peddle their lies to anyone who will listen.
