I'm reading this book that my Nana left me when she passed. It's called awakening the Buddha within. I've always liked Buddhism and even more so because it reminds me so much of Awakening. Anyway, I read this in the book and for some reason it meant something to me, though i have yet to discern what, so I decided to share it.

That sounds like a very cool book Katie.

Even if you could only manage to do a few of those things each day, you would be improving your life and possibly the lives of others too. And most of the things would be so simple and so easy to do if only we were willing to take a little time each day to think about it.
I was on a forum once where every time they came on people would post up to say what things they had done in the time they had been away to make things better either for themselves or someone else.
It was amazingly uplifting to read. Some of them were the simplest things, but they made you think 'I could do that, even with my busy lifestyle'.
They were amazingly inspirational.
Thankyou for your list Katie. I have a feeling I'll be reading it often. smile.gif

That's actually not a bad thought to try and do some of those things each day.
I mean I suppose you're meant to do all of them, but maybe only Buddhists would have the time?
But like you said Lady C even I could manage some of them every day. Maybe I'll try and have done them all at least once in every week. That sounds like an achievable goal for me.
And every little helps they say. smile.gif

Thank you Katie. otherkin/687.gif
